Ashcroft Theatre (Fairfield Halls) - Croydon - London
Jon: 25 January - Excellent show yet again. Terrys vox best I had heard. nice to see you pulled such a big crowd. Good move for you to pick up the acoustic, I really liked the entangled/absent section. Deep in the motherlode was strong, but follow` is a bit of a weak song (writing wise I mean). I liked the intro to abacab (have you tried the whole song?) I wouldn`t mind hearing Isles of plenty on the back of c.s, I know its not 2nds out, but I think you could pull it off. Wot Gorilla is a great way to start, keep it! Come back to south london soon! Best regards, Jon Vowles

Bob Barnett: 25 January - Hello David, Just dropping you a short note to thank you for the great show last night, it would seem that you had no worries with regard with the incorrect 'Invisible Touch Tour' ad because you went down a storm with the audience, a very impressive show, you've certainly come on a long way since last year when i saw you at Biggin Hill and that show was excellent too, but i think that playing the larger venues is better suited to the type of show that you are now putting on, i was particularly impressed with the lighting effects during 'Entangled' &'The New Jerusalem' part of 'Supper's Ready'. Thanks to all of you for a great evening! All the best Bob.

Tony Burton: 26 January - Top show on Friday! Loved the lights and as Duncan (in his capacity as representative of Genesis tribute band The Musical Box) pointed out elsewhere, the rendition of "For Absent Friends" was a delightful and unexpected surprise!

Michelle Bond: 31 January - Hi David, just to let you know I LOVE the new website! Especially the scrabble pics - very clever! Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the gig last week - Excellent - the best one I've seen you guys do, what a shame it was Neale's last. I hope you find a suitable & worthy replacement soon & I look forward to seeing you at a venue nearby soon! :-) Take Care, Michelle.

Kevin Harding: 28 May - Saw G2 at Croydon several months ago and thought they were fantastic. Looking forward to seeing them again sometime. Kevin

Assembly Halls - Worthing - West Sussex
Dave Clews: 23 November - Hi all, Saw you guys for the first time in Crawley last June so when I heard you were to play on my local patch in Worthing I was first in line for tickets .... and got front row seats. Genesis are dear to me - their music means a lot and you did not disappoint one iota! I know Worthing wasn't that crowded but don't let that put you off. You made a lot of people very happy. I played a Genesis Live CD on the way home in the car ... and couldn't really tell the difference. You guys are really good. Take a huge bow! Can't wait to see the band again. Thanks for a great night. Cheers Dave

Andrew Spong: 23 November - Dear G2 Superb! A massive thank-you from the guy who shouted himself hoarse in the gallery for last night's wonderful show. I am so sorry that you didn't get the audience you deserved -- you treated us to virtuoso and astonishingly authentic performances of some timeless music. I was transfixed from start to finish. It was a thrill to hear the warm analog thump of David's Moog Taurus pedals and the wash of Piers' Mellotron emulator (I will be scouring ebay for both for ever now!) and I amazed to see that Chris uses a Zoom 707 effects board -- as do I, but I'm darned if I can make it sound like that! You have a wonderful frontman in Terry, the timbre of whose voice is eerily Collins-like at times and also captures the warm, distinctive tones of Gabriel with some elan. Jeff -- if it was indeed you on drums, as you were never introduced (tsk tsk!) -- I salute you. What a performance. I'd back you in a three way drum-off with Collins and Bruford any day.

Until yesterday, and to my enduring regret, as I am in my mid-30s I considered myself to be one of those unfortunates who is fated to have never seen Genesis perform their classic material live. Today, however, regret is a thing of the past as I am now able to look forward to the next time I will be seeing you in concert. Please don't knock Worthing off of your tour venues -- I am sure there are legions of prog fans who would have welcomed the opportunity to support you last night, but to be frank your promoter did you no favours. I only found out you were playing by accident! Anyway, here's to you all! Cheers Andrew, also new prog converts Louise and Susan

Peter White: 23 November - Just wanted to say how much i enjoyed last nites show at worthing. It was my first opportunity to see the band and hopefully not the last even my sceptical 17year old son was impressed. Spoke to your sound man, Paulo?, and told him how much better you wer than the recent Steve Hackett concert in Croydon. Hope you will follow up my suggestion in coming to Horsham in West Sussex I think you will get a much better response in a much nicer venue. Keep up the great work Regards Peter

Graham Riddleston: 24 November - Hope you don't mind me Emailing you direct but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Worthing gig on Saturday. Fantastic! Typical Worthing though, pissing down and no-one goes out on a Saturday night. I came along with a group of six other old men, most of whom had seen G2 before, but being the only "musician" (ha!) amongst them I was ready to be disappointed. I couldn't see how any band could play the complicated 'old stuff' and still do it justice. But I'm glad to say I was completely wrong. The standard of musicianship was second to none. The sounds used, especially the keyboard patches used by Piers, were so authentic (what does he use to get that Mellotron sound?) and the mix was dead right. But the main pleasure for me was your 4008. I remember the first time I saw Genesis live in 1973 at the Brighton Dome and Mike Rutherford came on with the Jetglo 12/bass twin neck. I thought I died and gone to heaven. I haven't seen one since, until Saturday.

Also, after years of air guitar in my youth and as a lapsed bass player it was good to see how those tunes are actually played. It must give you a lot of satisfaction to play them. If you ever need an understudy, give me a call :-) So before I start sounding like a stalker I'll finish by thanking you and the rest of the band for thoroughly enjoyable and nostalgic evening. I'll defintely being coming to see again. Thanks Graham Riddleston PS I've never seen anyone dance in the ailse to Suppers Ready before!

Derek: 24 November - thanks boys for a great gig at worthing nov 22nd, loved the 4 day rendition of suppers ready at the and.....need some hogweed please......sorry to send you back to the van for an XXL t-shirt at the end, again many thanks, saw the originals for the invisible touch tour at wembley stadium bur you`re the first tribute band i`ve seen, see you next time you`re in worthing or thereabouts, i`ll try to slim down to an XL by next time.....lol...cheers, derek

Jim Lock: 30 November - Just a quick note to say thanks for the great show at Worthing last Saturday - pity there were so few of us there, I guess that was because the Australian Pink Floyd played the night before to a packed house and not everyone was as lucky as me in getting two nights out on the trot.... But what a good idea to send the lights guy out to warm the audience up! That did the trick, they certainly made a lot of noise from where I was sitting at least. Everyone around me was obviously loving it, and I have said it before I know but it's good to see you chaps enjoying it as well.

It was also good to finally say hello face to face, I will buy you that pint one day. Incidentally, did I overhear you say that next year you're going to do the Duke set? That will be something worth waiting for, but I hope you aren't going to drop any of the classics you do now. Hope not, I've seen this set three times now, and it just gets better. I know, do the Duke set as well, and play for twice as long! Anyway thanks again for a fantastic show, hope to catch you again soon. All the best, Jim

Camberley Theatre - Camberley - Surrey
Mike Caplin: 24 November - Just a quick note to say how much my friends & I enjoyed the show on Friday night, it was wonderful! Two of us have reserved copies of the DVD so are looking forward to it's arrival at some point next year. As usual, you guys excelled. Very impressed with Piers doing so well - I can't even imagine how many notes he has needed to learn in the last six months. I will keep an eye on the website for future gigs in my area & will definitely attend. Keep it real guys. All the best. Mike

Julian Berkeley: - Hi all. Thought I had to contact you to say what a magnificent evening we had on Friday. I took my 12-year old son to his first-ever gig and I'm delighted to say it was you guys, because you gave him a show he'll always remember, full of energy and, of course, fantastic music! I have to confess that G2 are new to me. Seen Phil and the boys back in the 70s/80s (as no doubt you did too) and also ReGenesis in London, so what a treat to have such a superb concert right on my doorstep. James, my son, was overwhelmed to have Dave come up to chat to him after the show. You all clearly enjoyed yourselves immensely, you played your socks off and we'll add our names to your contact list so that we can keep up-to-date with what's going on in G2-land and start supporting you. He insisted on ordering the DVD so that he can re-live those first-gig moments. Thanks to you all for a truly fabulous evening - it really was something special! Keep rockin' Julian

Richard Bambridge: 28 November - Loved the set at the Camberley theatre (Nov 2003) and great to have the chance to chat after the performance.... 'Supper's Ready' for me stood out as the best of an excellent selection ... this was an evening to remember. Perhaps a future tour may include the classic 'Return of the Giant Hogweed' or 'The Musical Box' ... - any hopes???? Richard Bambridge

Roger Fleisig: 27 December - Hi Guys. Well as they say, better late than never. I wanted to thank you all for the excellent concerts at both Camberley & Worthing. I can't wait to see your DVD as I thought the Camberley Theatre was an excellent venue and very well supported. I hope our enthusiasm for your performance on the night came across okay. I was just a pity that the Worthing concert wasn't as well supported. We're all doing our bit to spread the G2 word to a wider audience. I've seen your gig list for 2004 and it looks as if I'm going to be clocking up even more miles than last year! I've also been lucky enough to receive a ticket for your Epsom concert as a present - who said Father Christmas doesn't exist! In the mean time, I will wish you all a happy new year and I'll see you soon.

Castle Hall - Hertfordshire
Graham Muz: 30 June - Dear David and the team. I just wanted to drop a note to say how much I enjoyed the show on Friday. I think that I can safely say that it seemed to me to be one of the most energetic and consistent performances that I have seen todate (and that's been a few!) The track that really stood out in the first half was Cinema show which simply blew me away! However the second half just got better and better. And I think I can say that for all the audience who really were up for it and enjoyed the show, they might have appeared a small audience but the atmosphere was excellent. Please let Terry know I will try and get the timing right on "A flower?" hehe. I would also like to thank you and the team for always making me feel so welcome all adds to continually make the evening so good. I hope to speak and see you all again soon. Enjoy the summer break from performances...roll on September Regards Graham

Kevin Stephens: 3 July - Just to say well done to you all for an excellent gig last Friday. You all worked very hard and the effect was terrific. We ended up sat on the tables right at the back with our drinks and really had a great view of everything including the technical stuff. The piece that made it for me was side 2 of Wind and Wuthering. It always reminds me of a camping hike across the hills in that long hot drought of summer 76. That 'Afterglow' moment was when we reached our goal after miles of parched throats ! You recreated the moment for me beautifully! My friend who came along didn't know many of the tracks but said she could have listened all night. It was nice to say hello afterwards and the Live CD is excellent. I missed out on the Live Seconds one so I'll have to get a copy off you. Looking forward to the DVD and programme when available. Well done again and all the best Kevin Stephens

City Hall Entertainment Centre - Salisbury
John Kent: 15 March - Just to say that I really enjoyed your show last night. The sound was excellent and the variety of instruments was most enjoyable. The rendition of suppers ready was possibly for me the peak- but it was all enjoyable and the first time that I had heard hairless heard and fly on a windshield from the lamb played live. Shame there were not more there but we had a great view from row B.

Graham: 15 March - Hi Terry and Dave. Just thought I would drop you a line to say... well the title says it all. Thought you were all excellent and really seemed up for it! Please pass on my regards and thanks to the whole team. A great set nice to hear a few new songs played and Piers seemed to fit in so well too (fab to hear the full intro FoF!) I hope you had a good trip back and I look forward to seeing you all again soon. Regards Graham

Mark Elling: 17 March - I have to start by saying I've rarely been moved to write in response to a concert before, so please bear with me on this one. Judging by the look of the audience at the City Hall last Friday, I was far from alone in a quest to enjoy the wonderfully exciting music of Genesis once again. Work colleagues looked at me with disbelief when I answered the 'what are you doing this weekend?' question. If only they could have been there - quite simply it was everything (and more) I could have wished for.

As a life-long fan of the music I was so thrilled to hear the soaring majesty and dynamics again. Selling England was my first LP purchase (I still have it in my collection) and so remains one of my favourite pieces. Cinema Show and Firth of Fifth always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up - you guys created the same effect - thanks! I hope you'll come back to Salisbury again soon, although I'd travel to see you perform again, so good was the experience! Best wishes and keep up the good work. Mark.

Paul Woods: 21 March - Dear Jeff, Just thought I would drop you a line to thank you for the terrific performance last Friday. Having listened to seconds out maybe a 1000 times since 1977, there is little on there that I have never heard, your drumming was just spot on (I even bought you a drink at half time, which you continued to drink through the performance). Just a technical point, your drumming is all there beat for beat, how many times have you listened to seconds out?? Dont feel obliged to answer, I only wanted to pass on appreciation for a cracking show from all of you and your own superb performance. Paul Woods

Peter Williams: 24 March - Hi david well thanks for a great show at the city hall, especially as i sat next to Piers dad. I tried to grab a word afterwards but you disapeared. Once again thanks for the other night. Peter. P.S Peter Gabriel lives about Ten minutes down the road and shops in our local Sainsburys next time i see him i will pass on your best!

Coliseum Theatre - Aberdare - Wales
Phil Wales: 14 Sep - Before going on, I should explain that our music interests/experience is very wide ranging. Our philosophy is there is only two types of music..........good + bad. Between us we've seen many hours of live music (stadium to local music halls). The list includes Yes, Floyd, The Boss, Billy Joel, Asia, E.L.P., Hall&Oates and of course Genesis.

The reason I say all this is because your gig last night stands alongside the best concerts we've seen. We were all astounded by how "spot-on" the music was - one of the boys stated you were "outrageously accurate in every department". We were also impressed by your attention to detail and professionalism - seeing the size of the crowd, many bands would have just gone through the motions.

To sum it up, one of the other boys reckoned £10 a ticket was a rip-off..........us ripping-off you !!! The tragedy is there are many local fans of Genesis that missed out last night, either because of not getting to hear about the gig or being sceptical of tribute bands perse. Anyway, on behalf of all six of us, thanks again for a thoroughly entertaining night. If you let me know when you're next in or near Wales, I will help spread the word and attract quite a few more. Phil. (Rhondda Valley)

Neil Owens: 14 Sep - Saw you last night at the Aberdare Coliseum, sheer class. All I can say is that it was scary. I'm missed out on seeing the early original genesis in the flesh, but I'm guessing that it couldn't have been any better than what I saw of you guys last night. You should be playing stadiums not little venues like the Aberdare Coliseum, but I'm glad you did. Thanks for a fabulous night of nostalgia. Excellent website to. P.S. I enjoyed the England waistcoat, a brave item of clothing to wear in the land of the rampant sheep shaggers, more power to you.

Dave Miles: 14 Sep - I just had to send you an email to thank you and the rest of the band for an absolutely amazing night at the Coliseum on the 13th. I was totally "blown away." I have been a Genesis fan for more years than I care to remember really and your band brought back so many memories for me that you had emotions flooding through me that got me giggling foolishly and crying simultaneously! "G2" have managed to reproduce the unmistakable sound of Genesis so accurately I was totally dumb struck! It was a pity though that there wasn't more of an audience there. Never mind - it didn't take away any enjoyment for me and my crew of mates. Thanks again. A very memorable night. Dave Miles

Robert Little: 15 Sep - Hi david, I had to write to thank you for a spectacular evening last Saturday at Aberdare. The sound and the lighting were excellent. The band have obviously put a great deal of hard work into the show and it's a pity there was such a small crowd there to witness a truly amazing concert.I spoke to you briefly after the gig and I forgot to ask you how did you learn all the music? As far as I'm aware there's no sheet music for much of your set.Did you just listen to each song and learn who plays what? Whatever, thanks once again and next time try coming to Swansea because you'll get a bigger crowd. Best wishes, Robert L.

Scott Emmitt: 17 Sep - hi guys, thanks for a great night, one i will never forget in a hurry!!. Shame the colliseun was a little empty!!, but in all fairness you put on one hell of a show. It was my first genesis tribute gig and i hope to see u guys again. All the tracks where excellently reproduced, Terrys voice was spot on. Jeffs drumming was tremendous like listening to Mr Collins him self!!. David and Chris where awesome on gutairs, getting the sound exactly how it should sound. Piers, if i closed my eyes i could see Tony Banks tinkling the ivories !!!

Terry, wot cheek wearing a union jack shirt and trousers !!! in WALES of all the places. My girlfriend who isnt an avid genesis fan really enjoyed the night and is listening to the cd we bought at the gig all the time. She particually liked the packet Terry was sporting in the union jack trousers during Dancing!!! Thanks again for a great night and i hope you will return to Wales very soon. cheers SCOTT EMMITT.

Charles Young:: 15 Oct - Please can you tell me when the dvd will be released? My name is Charles, I was at the Aberdare gig in South Wales, {one of the few}, just like to say what a superb perfomance, and keep up the good work, many thanks, hope to see you again sometime.

Hall For Cornwall - Truro - Cornwall
Dave & Lesley Jarvis: 24 January - Thanks for a memorable evening. It brought back many happy memories, but unfortunately not our youth! Please come back soon, as we are a bit of an outpost for tours. Regards, Dave & Lesley Jarvis

Adrian: 28 January - TO YOU ALL, SAW YOUR SHOW AT HALL FOR CORNWALL, THOUGHT YOU WERE BRILLIANT, WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK TO CORNWALL AGAIN? HAVE YOU ANY PLANS TO DO MORE UP TO DATE TRACKS, SAY 1983 ON ! REGARDS ADRIAN MEDLYN (Avid Genesis Nut)

Graham Johnson: 29 January - well we went to the show and we thought your were absoloutly fantastic. The music was spot on and the charisma of the lead singer with the crowd was as good as mr collins. We were sat at the front, in the middle and i was wearing my 'lamb' t-shirt. The songs you played were the right ones to play, classic in fact. Ive never heard Watcher of the Skies sound as good as when you guys did it. And as for suppers ready..... how the hell you managed that was beyond me. Any plans to play down here again soon???? All the best and good luck with the rest of the tour. See you again, Graham Johnson

Pete Ledingham: 31 January - Hi David, we all came to the Hall for Cornwall on the 23rd. As I expected, I enjoyed it tremendously and - I'm glad to say - the previously unconverted people who came with me also enjoyed it. I will even forgive you for not playing Ripples. I thought all of it was very good and some of it was just fantastic. Oddly (perhaps) I think my favourite moment was Entangled. Obviously you are all very talented (and no doubt hard-working) musicians. As a drummer (well, sort of) myself I particularly enjoyed watching Jeff play. I'm not sure I've ever seen a drummer do so much work while making it look like he is sitting in an armchair reading the paper. Not sure if it inspires me or makes me want to give up. Hurry back. Cheers, Pete Ledingham

Jackie Hallowes:: 20 February - Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know how brilliant you were at the Hall for Cornwall in January! I was gobsmacked and have never cried at a concert but you certainly made the hairs on my arms & neck stand up and 'follow you follow me' being 'our' song brought tears to my eyes! Not only that song but lots of others mean so much to my husband and I as we used to listen to them lots when he was in the Falklands during the conflict in 1982.

I must admit I was a bit sceptical of your work before I heard it as the old Genesis is just so complicated and hard to re-create, or so I thought, but you made it so magical and wonderful and PLEASE PLEASE come to Cornwall again!! When is it Terry? came on the stage I had to do a double take...thought it was PC himself! But what a wonderful character! You were all truly fantastic...how am I doing in the creeping stakes!!? Please keep up the truly brilliant work and if you have a list of gig dates I would be so interested! Best wishes to all, Jackie Hallowes.

King's Lynn Corn Exchange - Norfolk
DB: 27 Sep - Saw you at Kings Lynn last night.Probably the best gig I have been to in quite a while. Both the wife and I thoroughly enjoyed your well over 2 hours of classic Genesis music. Its a pity the Corn Exchange was only half full, but I hope this will not put you off returning again.I will put the word around and hopefully there will be bums on all the seats next time. once again, thank you for some great music.

Richard Folk: 27 September - Great to see you at Kings Lynn last night, so nice to be able to speak to you. Another fantastic show. I was telling Chris how G2 are reuniting friends. After you put my review of the Newark concert on your website it was read by an old college friend. He also came to Kings Lynn last night and we met up. The last time I spoke to him was 1979! Although still smaller than it ought to be the audience was great last night and it was really nice that you got a thoroughly deserved standing ovation. I will keep an eye on the website and will certainly write a review of last night's show if nothing else much appears. Great news that you are planning more dates for 2004, hope to see you at least twice next year. Very best wishes again. Richard

Chris Wigley: 28 September - Gentleman, I am totally blown away by your performance in Kings Lynn last Friday. Words failed me on the night and still do. Pure Brilliance. Only true Genesis fans could understand what it did to me - the memories, emotion, goose bumps (the shiver down the spine thing) the appreciation of absolutely superb musicians who have dedicated themselves to create such a perfect, authentic sound. I would much appreciate you placing me on your mailing list, I just cant wait to see the band again. Thank you for doing what you are doing. You made my year. Please don't stop!! look forward to hearing from you, and thanks again.

David Parish: 4 October - Thanks for a great night's entertainment, It was wonderful to hear some of the greatest music ever written brought back to life, by talented musicians who obviously share a true Genesis fan's love and respect for it. The whole G2 team did an excellent job of faithfully recreating the sound and atmosphere of Genesis live - no easy task, and I envy you for being able to do it so well. - It would be my dream job! Thanks again and hurry back. - David Parish

Simon Childerley:Posted 25 October - I was the guy loitering at the end of the KINGS LYNN gigs speaking to you lot about what a bloody fantastic gig it was. Like I said that night, I have seen GENESIS at knebworth and I can hand on heart tell you that as enjoyable as it was its wasn't all the stuff we wanted to hear but you guys...theres a different story! I am raving to everyone about G2 to anyone that will listen and eagerly await your return within the Anglia region so we can come and see a great show again. Top work all of you, it was a pleasure to watch a band enjoying their gig and working as a band not just a bunch of musicians covering old Genesis songs. Good Luck Simon

Robin Hill - Isle of Wight
Brian Pocock: 22 June - Hi, I saw the G2 Isle of Wight gig yesterday and thought the song selection and performances were perfection.I was wondering how you worked out the chords and notes to such complex pieces of work.I'm still learning guitar[aged 44!] and would like to learn the magical guitar solo from Firth Of Fifth.Any chance of putting this tab' on your website?Kind regards. Brian.

Chris Draper: 22 June - Just to say how much we enjoyed your show at Robin Hill last night. I have been a huge fan of Genesis for many years (more than I care to mention!) and have to confess to being a bit nervous as to how a tribute band would measure up. I needn't have worried. From the first to the last note it was blindingly obvious how much effort you all put into creating the authentic and unique Genesis sound. We all thoroughly enjoyed the show from start to finish and hope you will return to the Island again. Shame about the rain but the lightning was great and knowing the English summer, it could have been a lot worse! Regards Jayne, Chris and Elizabeth Draper

Roger Fleisig: 23 June - Hi guys. Just seen your show on the Isle of Wight and was completely blown away by it. I never thought I would get the opportunity to hear the old Genesis tunes played live again but you certainly did them justice - and then some! It was like twenty years in time had been rolled back, and goodness only knows, those of us old enough to remember the originals could do with some of that. It was a brilliant show and even the rain failed to dampen (sorry) my enjoyment of the evening and I look forward to catching up with you at your next show. Keep up the good work, Roger Fleisig

Mark: 23 June - Hi Guys Saw you at Robin Hill (Isle of Wight) at the weekend, absolutely brill. Thanks Very much. Will def see you again and again Keep up the great work Mark.

Julie Tuck: 24 June - Hi Guys, What an absolutely incredible evening! Thank you! Can't wait for November 21st and the Camberley gig. See you then. Julie

Douglas Swallow: 29 June - HI guy's, like so many other Genesis fans, i was unsure of how a tribute band could measure up, and to come down from york to the island , is a fair trek if one is disappointed, as it is. it was money, more than well spent, I was gobsmacked, i just couldn't believe how good you guy's were, like thousands of others i know the music very well, and you didn't disappoint. loved the rain , the lightning, the fireworks and last but by no means least i loved the music FANTASTIC !!! well done to all concerned, can't wait for the next one, though a gig a little further north would be appretiated, LOL Regards D. Swallow (YORK)

Simon Cooper: 23 June - I watched you on the Isle of Wight and thought you were just fantastic. The sound and accuracy was better than I have heard from any tribute band, even your individual mannerisms were spot on. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and will be travelling to see you in Camberley in November. All the best to all of you. See you on the 21st Simon Cooper Isle of Wight

Derek Stroud: 9 July - Finally got round to writing this review. Like most people I was a little unsure of what to expect, but by the end of 'Wot Gorilla' I was hooked. I couldn't have wished for a more perfect playlist- all the very best of the instrumentals (no offence to Terry Day!!). I have been a fan of Genesis for many years- in fact that evening marked 25 years to the day that I first saw them at Knebworth in 1978. The music was spot on, I couldn't believe that I was not listening to the real thing and Piers seems to imitate Tony Banks so well- I'm sure he really was enjoying himself. Keep up the good work and I will definitely try to catch G2 again, maybe indoors next time. Derek Stroud.

The Hawth Theatre - Crawley
Jim Lock:: 18 June - Hi David, Made it to Crawley last night - what a great show! The accoustics so much better than the Worthing Assembly Halls, made a lot of difference. You chaps were obviously enjoying it too! I booked at the last minute - getting a late pass from the Missus needed a lot of working on - and surpisingly ended up dead centre front row. Perfect! Sorry I didn't catch you afterwards, it would have been nice to say hello, maybe next time. PS Suppers Ready gets better and better, unless it's me just getting older. All the best, keep it going, Jim

Jim Robinson: 18 June - Really enjoyed you evenings work 17/6/03, everybody was great, (the keyboards stole the show for me) you are the closest thing to a time machine there is! Many Thanks. Regards Jim Robinson

Paul Hope: 18 June - Hi, Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the concert last night at The Hawth. Having been a follower of numerous Genesis tribute bands since 1997, i can honestly say that your performance, with regard to the particular era that you play is without question one of the best. The acoustic set inparticular is very strong, and the lead singers voice at the start of 'For Absent Friends' was uncanny, close your eyes and it was a young Mr Collins. I thought Piers did a great job, bearing in mind he had just done a weekend with Regenesis, he has a tremendous amount of material to remember, thank goodness for scotch and toblerone.

And now having praised you to the skies, just one thing.... you knew it was coming, the drummer was far to low in the mix, he was playing his heart out and apart from his spot near the end you could hardly hear him, either that or i've been to too many gigs recently. Keep up the good work, there are some scary people out there. All the best Paul Hope.

Mike Bliss: 18 June - I thoroughly enjoyed your Crawley concert, and thought you might be interested in seeing the review on my website. Thanks again for the evening's entertainment! Regards, Mike.

Nigel Betteridge: 18 June - Guys, Really enjoyable show and a real treat to see you at Crawley. I never managed to see Genesis live but feel that last night made up for that. Fantastic playing all round. My wife also enjoyed the show but was slightly disappointed that you didnt play some more recent material. Favourite moment for me was the instrumental on "Cinema Show" with your drummer performing miracles and sounding like Bruford and Collins at the same time as per "Seconds Out".

I am a singer. My singing style has been likened to Mr Collins and I do like to throw in a few dynamics for good measure and my real love is Genesis, more especially the mid-later period. So are there any superbly talented musicians in the London to Brighton corridor up for the challenge? If anyone reads this and want to do something like that they could mail me at nigelbetteridge@tesco.net.

Having seen you guys perform it would be a hard act to follow I reckon! Once again... thanks for a spectacular evening at the Hawth and come back soon as we rarely see quality bands round these parts and I'm sure you'll agree its a lovely theatre to perform in. Rgds Nigel Betteridge

Neil: 19 June - Congratulations on your excellent choice of Piers - he'll do a superb job (I was well impressed at the Crawley gig the other evening, despite the teething problems!). All the best, Neil

Peter Baker: 19 June - Never got the chance to see Genesis live (too young back in the heydey) but having amassed lots of live stuff from them I thought you'd be hard pressed to be near them. This was my first time at a Genesis tribute gig and I thought you guys were great, sat there with a huge grin throughout the gig, could pick out my faves but the whole show was superb, couldn't believe the night went so quick though. Will definately be coming back to see you again when your next in this neck of the woods.

Kevin Hawkins: 20 June - Guys, What a brilliant performance!!! I didn't get to see the other Genesis until there were three, so missed out on the early stuff. Seeing your concert filled the gap. You are all obviously enthusiasts and it infected us all. Once again, great gig. Look forward to Worthing in November. Please come back to Crawley again!!! Thank you Kevin Hawkins

Farid Ahmed: 26 June - Hi, Excellent show at The Hawth in Crawley last week, a real treat for all who can't do without olde-style Genesis but never thought they'd hear it live again. Well, I want to see and hear you guys again, so please add me to your mailing list - all keep up the good work! Regards, Farid Ahmed

The Orchard Theatre - Dartford
Pete Mears: 7 June - OH MY GOD........... I could use several expletives at this point to help encompass the general feeling of sheer amazement, having just witnessed my very first G2 experience and wot a night. A floorless and extremely polished performance from all concerned. I have never seen a Genesis gig and I admit that of the whole Genesis picture the earlier material was by far the best and to have it encapsulated in an evening with G2 was breathtaking. My only disapointment was not being able to pay by switch at the merch. stall. Can I now hold you at your word? "Ask us or tell us anything"... Could you send me the set list for last nites gig at the Orchard Theatre Dartford... Thats a BIG Please... I have every intention of seeing the band again and I will be joining the mailing list for sure.

I now feel I need to gargle with TCP having shreiked rather loadly at several emotive peices including an incredible Acoustic masterpiece namely Horizons played to perfection. I also understand from reading earlier reviews, that you have a new member on keyboard. This being my first G2 gig I cannot coment on the previous keyboardist however with the bands obvious performances going from strength to strength and witnessing some excellent keyboard skills I can only say that G2 are Brilliant. I can only sumise on the complexity involved in bringing a G2 gig to the masses and so... Thankyou to all at G2. Pete Mears

Paul Haywood: 8 June - Just want to say fantastic show again last night in my hometown of Dartford (saw you at croydon last year too).I loved the acoustic section and to hear'Blood'live was great as Genesis amazingly failed to perform it live,a great show apart from not doing Ripples ;).What would be great was if you could put a complete showor your best bits on a dvd for us fans to relive the shows. To see blood through to afterglow would be great and all the early classics performed would be a treat for us. Thanks again for a great night very tempted to make the trip to Crawley too. Please consider the dvd idea and let me know wat you think. Paul Haywood

Andrew & Helen Young: 8 June - Great gig on Friday night! Well done and keep doing Suppers Ready. Please. Thanks

Jeremy Kirk: 8 June - Dear G2, Had to drop you a line to say my brother and I came to your concert in Dartford on Friday and it was fantastic!! We hadn't heard about you until I saw the poster advertising the concert, so I checked out your website and went straight back to buy the tickets! Like most of your fans, we've been Genesis fans since the mid-70s (we're both the wrong side of 40 now!!).

It was a brilliant concert on Friday and you all well-deserved the standing ovation at the end. You deserve to be very proud of your performance and the accuracy of the music was second-to-none. I think I speak for everyone that was there on Friday - just by listening to what other people were saying as they left the theatre. It was great to hear early-Genesis music being played live again and it is obvious that you have put in a lot of hard work to recreate the sound as close to the original as possible - I felt the same emotions as I do listening to the original stuff!

Thanks, guys, for a thoroughly enjoyable evening; we look forward to seeing you again in the future. Good luck with the rest of the 'tour' but if they're all like Friday's gig in Dartford you gonna make a lot of people very happy!!! Regards, The Kirk brothers from Kent.

Alan Hughes: 13 June - What a superb evening. So well performed. Absolutely adored the acoustic set. Green with envy of course, I have always wanted to play in a Genesis tribute band and play it well. Keep it up chaps. Alan

The Palace Theatre - Newark
Steve Ward: 15 May - Just to let you know how much i enjoyed the night. I have been a huge fan of Genesis since hearing "Trespass" in my last year of school 1979. I listened with a critical ear and found your renditions hard to fault. I salute you and look forward to the next time. All the best Steve Ward.

Peter Ross: 16 May - Great show last night! Congrats to all of you. Peter.

Paul Saxton: 16 May - Dear G2 Saw you at the Meadow Lane social club in Nottingham Nov 2001 I really enjoyed the show though there weren't that many there. I think had been a bit of a problem with the publicity. Saw the show last night at the Palace Theatre and was absolutely bowled over! Brilliant. A fantastic improvement ( if that were possible). Loved the addition of Lamb Lies Down material. Request - Back in New York City? Loved the kick off with Wot Gorilla. Who is and where did you get that new keyboard player? He even resembles Tony Banks. Is he Tony's son? The last guy (Neale?) was good but he is fantastic.

I play a bit of keyboards myself (well Piano really) and still struggle with Lamb Lies Down and Firth of Fifth intro's so I know what I'm talking about. You very rarely hear them played live because they are very difficult. I love to know more about his keyboard set-up ( sorry- anorak mode...) the sounds were spot on and his playing was note perfect. Oh yes -the rest of you weren't bad either hence the standing ovation. No seriously it was brilliant show thanks very much. I was nearly in tears in places. When you're on around the Nottingham area again I'll definitely be there. Cheers fer now. Paul Saxton

Iain McCreight: 16 May - Hi guys, Excellent gig last night - I will immediately contact our local theatre here in either Retford or in Worksop to encourage them to book you! It was great to hear all those complex melodies and rhythms again and encouraged me to look at getting some of the earlier albums not in my collection. My wife thought you were brilliant too - even better than AussieFloyd when she first heard them, also in Newark. Terry's resemblance to Phil Collins' mannerisms and vocals at various points in the evening was really spooky. Vocally the earlier, softer Genesis tracks were spot on. Harmony wise you were all brilliant and re lead guitar... as good as Steve Howe of Yes. Thanks for a brilliant night out. Best Regards, Iain McCreight

Richard Folk: 16 May - Fantastic! So pleased to have seen the band playing live at last. Came along with wife and son and we all had a great time; can't describe in words just how much we enjoyed the show. We stayed around at the end and chatted to Chris, Terry and Piers. Bought a T-shirt too! I thought that the venue was very good and although it would have been nice to have had a full house I hope that you were quite pleased with the reception. I thought that the audience really appreciated a superb evening's entertainment. I hope that you would consider playing Newark again now that people know just how good the band are. I really hope that the Peterborough show happens as we are desperate to come and see you again now.

I just couldn't pick a highlight, the whole show was tremendous but my wife would probably choose the absolute little gem of "Absent Friends" and "Entangled." My son would go for "Cinema Show" which is also a real favourite of mine. Do hope that you play somewhere in these parts again soon. Congratulations on G2 being such a fantastic project. Richard Folk

Barry Frost: 25 May - Dear G2, Saw you at Newark gig recently - what a treat! It was like having all my favourite chocolates all to myself! You were musically superb - I just couldn't believe what I was experiencing. Was I just lucky and picked a gig where you did most of my absolute fave album (Wuthering) and plenty of my other faves, or do you usually focus on those? Anyway, I look forward to seeing you again. You were stunning. Thanks for keeping it alive! Barry Frost

Steven Pollard: 27 May - David. hope you and the band are all ok. Myself and my 2 brothers came down from Leeds to the Newark gig. FANTASTIC. Not a large audience, but loud enough. What a brilliant night, I was 18 yrs old again! Please keep up the good work and will possibly catch you at Peterborough.

Godfrey Allison: 18 Sep - HI THERE, I SAW YOUR SHOW AT NEWARK, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE THIS YEAR AND THOUGHT IT WAS BRILLIANT, IN FACT I AM STILL TALKING ABOUT IT NOW. DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS TO COME BACK TO THE PALACE THEATRE AGAIN, AS I WOULD LOVE TO COME AND SEE YOU PLAY. FROM GODFREY ALLISON, NOTTINGHAM

The Palace Theatre - Southend
Les Hurst: 12 Sep - Hi Saw the show last night at the Palace Theatre South-End, well what can I say. Absolutely FANTASTIC, please come back soon. Many thanks for a spectacular night of music. Les Hurst

Gareth: 13 Sep - Went to your Palace gig this Thursday - Fannnnnnnnnnnnnnntastic - Well done. How do you remember all the songs - they are so involved. Gareth

Stuart: 14 Sep - Guys. I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for a great gig on Thursday night. I't's the 3rd or 4th time I've seen you and you just get better and better. A couple of questions though, if you don't mind: 1) Do you prefer playing slightly smaller venues (eg the Palace theatre as compared to the Cliffs Pavilion) as you seem to "turn it on" a little more in thoe sorts of surroundings. Which brings me on to....... 2) Sitting down at a gig is all very well and nice, but sometimes it's better to stand and get carried away. If you know what I mean! Do you have any plans to give a concert at a standing venue (Cambridge Corn Exchange springs to mind, as does the Astoria in London) 3) I love the "Lamb" medley, but why oh why no "In the cage"???? That is one of my all time faves and I don't get to hear it too much. All the best - please stick me on your mailing list and I look forward to seeing you again soon. Stuart

Ron Morrow: 14 Sep - Had to e mail you to say what a great night at southend , G2 have hit the genesis sound right on the nail, CONGRATULATIONS. Say thanx to terry, dave, chris, piers and jeff from me and gary.... I will send you a copy of interview on mini disc when finished it,s due to go on air in november.... hope to see you all again soon KEEP ON SQUONKING RON MORROW

Roger Fleisig: 20 Sep - Hi Guys. Thanks for the excellent show at the Palace Theatre, Southend. It was so much drier than the Isle of Wight! It was a great performance and I thought the lighting effects were excellent. Thanks also for taking the time out to chat to us after the show. I have been spreading the word to my friends and look forward to catching up with you all again at Camberley and Worthing in November. Roger Fleisig

Stephen Betts: 27 Sep - I hope you remember me, im the bloke that flew over from Ireland to watch the show at Southend. And what a show it was, to be honest I didn't think you could get better than when I saw you last year. But you were, to put it bluntly the show was just FANTASTIC. You all seemed to enjoy the show as much as we did. After the show I was lucky enough to have a chat with you, and guess what,,,, your all just ordinary genesis fans (with immense musical talent). Thanks for having the time to chat for a while, and making it a night I will remember for many years to come. And for being a group of really nice blokes. All the best Steve Betts.

The Swan Theatre - High Wycombe - Buckinghamshire
Andrew Burt: 31 January - Saw you twice last year at Wycombe, both shows really superb. No-one plays this stuff like you do! Best wishes, Andrew Burt.

Roger Coates: 13 March - Saw you for the first time. Great night, tried not to ruin it too much for everybody else by singing along, but it was hard. Inspired me to complete my Genesis collection with Seconds Out, which stayed in the car CD player for a long time!

Bits'n'Bobs
Javier Montes: 4 June - I am mad about Genesis and unfortunately never got to see them live. Where I live in Spain tribute bands are not frequent, so I haven't had a chance either to see and feel anybody performing their stuff. I only recently started browsing the internet for tribute bands and I have listened to the samples of your performances and I really was impressed by the sound and the professionalism it exuded and you're right Terry's vocals are terrific and sounded like Phil Collins's alter ego! The instruments and the sound were just excellent.

I travel often to the UK, London and Cardiff area mainly, but if you keep the list of your performances updated with some advance time, I'll make my damnedest to see you? Ever thought of playing The Lamb in full? This may be sound a little silly question, but I'm mad about the record ever since I heard it for the first time and that's twenty four years ago, on my cousin's thrashed record player. If you ever plan to do that, I'll be there to cheer. Best regards, Javier Montes

John Graham: 10 June - Hello, Love the band. John

Sam Louisa: 16 Sep - Hi, I've seen G2 four times now, and each time has been fantastic, but have you ever considered playing venues where the audience might stand up as opposed to seated arena/theatres? I'd love to get more into it, it's a little frustrating when one can only tap fingers and toes and worry about deafening the guy behind or next to you! Keep up the FAB work and well done!

Sharon Pither: 30 November - Hi Terry, Yet another great gig!! - absolutely brilliant..as usual.. We think you're getting better and better every time we see you.. Well Done !! Can't wait for the next concert.. have you sorted any dates yet? Is there one near London? Perhaps we can all have a drink afterwards. Hope you and the boys have a very merry Xmas and an even more successful 2004. Bye for now.. Sharon and Lizzie xxxxx G2 Fan Club.
