Acorn Arts Centre - Cornwall
Dave Jarviss: 29 September - Hi Guys, just a quick message to say thanks for Friday night (!!!?). Brilliant show, which brought it all back, but don't tell the wife. Must be about 3 years since you played at Truro, so don't leave it so long next time, as we don't get many good bands down this far. How were the chips before the show - one guy at the bar said "who are that lot stinking the place out?" "The band" came the reply. Regards, Dave Jarvis

Keith Jones: 29 September - I'll be honest, I'd not heard of G2 until I picked up a leaflet at St Ives Guild Hall last week at a Blues Band concert I attended with my partner. I don't follow music much nowadays and so any marketing you do would pass me by. I was always a Genesis fan but don't play it much at home any more, probably because it is so familiar to me and not 'new', but also because my partner isn't a fan . After the Blues Band concert (which didn't float my boat but did float my partners!) I logged on to your website and listened to the sound-bites and was so impressed I immediately bought 2 tickets for Acorn and became, it is fair to say, quite excited.

I hadn't been to Acorn before so on arrival it was clear it was going to be an intimate experience. I can honestly say I now feel like I've been to a private gig with Genesis. Quite extra-ordinary. The music was from the early 70's (late 60's even) as you'd described (ie the Seconds Out tour). I was only 15 then and hadn't heard of Genesis (Trick of the Tail being my first album), but I had always 'regretted' not being old enough to have seen Genesis then. I feel like I've made up for that. Hoarse with whooping with delight I (almost) embarrassed my partner during my 'playing along' but I couldn't help myself. With only a hundred or so people in the venue we had conversations with the band! Unfortunatly by 11.10pm you had to stop and hadn't introduced everybody in the band.

Over the weekend, I've been replaying the songs in my head (especially 11th Earl and Suppers Ready) and it is quite remarkable how the memory for the sound and lyrics just come back to you. I don't know whether you should get bigger or not! You deserve to be really big but then too big and you'll spoil the private party atmosphere. Thanks for a brilliant night and I am the one who couldn't decide whether to drum along or keyboard along. It was not 'air-guitaring' that saved my partners blushes. Despite not knowing the songs, Jill really enjoyed it and would go again. Not converted but a result nontheless. Notable moments; drum solo the same as the PC/CT 'original', Suppers Ready (enough said), Cinema Show (better than, I'd remembered), everything leading to Afterglow, In the Cage, Ripples, 11th Earl, Watcher of the Skys (a surprise) etc etc. Fantastic" Thanks and see you again sometime, Keith Jones

Charterhouse - Godalming - Surrey
Don Livingstone: 02 November - Katie and I were at your concert last night and thought you were all brilliant. Fantatstic concert. We were up in the balcony which had a superb view. The two drums added a very powerful edge to the performance, - outstanding!! See you soon, Don and Katie

Graham Parrish: 03 November - Just a quick mail to say thanks for such a great night on Saturday at Charterhouse. Sorry we didn't get a chance to say hello, - I think you had other things to keep you busy! Please pass on our thanks to all the crew, particularly Dave A for the superb lighting, he did such a great job of enhancing such a beautiful setting, Graham.

Nick Carus: 03 November - Hi there, have seen the band 3 times now (twice at Charterhouse – Sat night was awesome!). Regards, Nick.

Alan Smith: 03 November - Hi, just wanted to say - saw you at Charterhouse on Saturday and thought you were brilliant (again). It would have been even better if it had been standing and if we could have bought drink in, but these elements weren't down to you! Loved the set, especially the 2nd half and the way you started the 2nd half was very well conceived. Loved the inclusion of more fool me and absent friends - also Go West - happy to see some "3" tracks included - it wasn't a bad album.

Couple of suggestions (sorry, you probably get these all the time!) - how about a track or 2 from Trespass (I know people may not know it as well, but worth dusting off 1 or 2 perhaps?) and would love abit more from Nursery Cryme - Fountain of Salamacis would be great live, or Hogweed... Finally - as I live in Kent - any plans to come back to Otford......and have you tried getting a booking at the assembly halls in Tunbridge Wells - it hosts a wide range of acts, musical and other......I have several friends who would come and see you... Thanks again for a great show and please keep going!! best wishes, Alan Smith

Heather Richards: 03 November - What can I say? Charterhouse – again! Having had the tickets in my hot little hands for nearly six months, I have been looking forward to this tremendously. However, I was a little concerned that without the edge of last year’s “this is a once in a lifetime opportunity” the evening might not be quite so special, so I can appreciate why you’ve decided not to make this an annual event. I needn’t have worried, as you all worked so hard to give us G2/Genesis nutters an amazing evening’s entertainment and all in aid of such a worthy cause. THANK YOU. Please let us all know how much money was raised this year.

The show itself was fantastic, fabulous lighting, great sound and a wonderful mix of the best Genesis songs. I liked the theory of stringing the songs together so you could fit in as much as possible, but somehow it didn’t feel quite right not to be able to express our appreciation and gratitude for each and every one of them, but maybe that’s just me! I loved the idea of you taking to the stage one at a time after the interval, especially as it meant two songs I’ve not heard you play before. (At least I don’t think I have - however each set has so much lovingly squeezed into it I might be mistaken!) Many many thanks again to ALL of you for a wonderful evening. I await with eager anticipation the Trick/Wind tour next year. Take care Hebsy.

Nader Sheta: 04 November - I just wanted you to know that I was at the Charterhouse concert last Saturday night and how much I enjoyed it. I saw your concert in Otford in April and loved it, Saturday was just as good if not better. Having two drummers on some of the songs was terrific. Please do pass on my thanks to all your colleagues. See you next time. Kind regards, Nader.

Steve Hammond: 04 November - Dear G2, I just had to write to let you know what an incredible evening we were priviliged to have last Saturday. I thought that last year's Friday gig was fantastic but you even managed to better it this year. So many happy memories; I loved hearing songs like More Fool Me and For Absent Friends but the majesty of Cinema Show moved me to tears. I can't believe that you played for 3 hours 15 minutes but am so glad that you did. The harmonies were exquisite and the playing was wonderful. The lighting guys made full use of the majestic canvas they had and that was a highlight of the show for me. Thank you to all of the G2 family; I can only guess how much you put into creating an evening like this. You have so much passion for the music that we all love and it shows. Well done on raising so much money for Chase Hospice. Have a well-earned rest and I look forward to seeing you quite a few times next year. Steve.

Karen Lane: 04 November - Hi, Just to say what an amazing gig at Charterhouse, I hope it will become an annual fixture and it is for such a good cause too. You are all such amazing musicians and the sound you produce lifts the spirit. I come away from your concerts on a true high and thats with only a couple of cans of lager!! I look forward to seeing you in March at High Wycombe - I have the T Shirt now so I am a true G2 follower! Best wishes to you all for Christmas. Rgds, Karen

Derek Cloude: 05 November - Came last year to Charterhouse, that was a great performance, this was even better. Even got our two daughters along this time, they were bought up listening to genesis so they thought it was brilliant. Have got some friends who would like to see you. So see you in Farnham next year. Derek,Frances, Emma & Laura Cloude.

Alan Pearson: 05 November - Great job last night – good to see you and interesting to hear some new stuff!

Lesley Picken: 05 November - Saturday was AWESOME! I had a fantastic time. It was great watching from the back as I had a better view of the light show than if I'd have been at the front. I expect you might've seen us (Nikki, Oz, Ali) headbanging and air drumming! My neck didn't half ache the next day! And I was SO hoarse from singing my head off! The guys did a terrific job. as they usually do.

David McDonnell: 05 November - What a night. So much to put in here and not only about the music. The set list had grown and contained some quite exciting additions to the boy's repertoire and all credit to them for including the unusual and unexpected but not unwelcome. Hats off for It's Yourself, an inclusion that confused some of those around me. The stage was as impressive as last year, may be even more so as the lighting was improved to enhance the moody arches of the aged building, ironically better for the inclusion of the laser machine. The lay-out the same with the twin drum kits bringing symmetry and balance to the receptive audience; is it too easy to preach to the already converted?

So we know Nigel's name now, the guest percussionist who before Deep In The Motherlode looked as much use as Linda was to Paul in Wings but after was welcomed by us as one of the family and then after the duet will be missed on subsequent tours. We know his name but not who he is or the reason he gets to play and why only here. Well who ever he is he seemed to really bring Jeff out to his full potential; Jeff was on fire tonight! As mentioned before the duet was incredible and impossible not to think of Phil and Chester and conversations with stools but none the worse for the reminder. Usually the percussion accompanies and compliments what the 'real' instruments are doing but here they held their own and played a bigger part than I've witnessed before.

Chris was on top form again but rarely isn't as far as I am concerned but interestingly wasn't perfect, for once, let me explain. There were acoustic times where the sound was wrong, but I don't know enough to say if it was him or the board that was at fault but was Absent Friends out of tune or should it have not been on the 12-string (we all know how hard it is to tune one of those babies) or should Horizons been on the nylon? Plus on the quieter early parts of Ripples the same inconsistency surfaced, plus there seemed to be some poor choice of harmonising with Dave's six string part, also "just a little" on the Cinema Show intro. Now the reasons for this could be many fold - is my memory of the way I have heard G2 play before through rose coloured spectacles (or are they called beer goggles) and they were no different tonight or I am getting far too pedantic and hearing things that are not there or expecting too much or do I need to get a life or all of the above.?

Chris' execution of Blood On The Rooftops (one of my favourites) was brilliant, the sound again off centre but not part of Chris' control, I believe ? I was over the (Mad Man) moon to hear all of Dancing With The Moonlit Knight and thanks for that - no sound issues here, the same true of One For The Vine and Deep In The Motherlode - the electric tools were on top form. Piers from the opening chord of Watcher Of The Skies was in control (nobody can master the Firth intro every time m8) and the sound was more authentic than before, now is that those glasses again or new equipment or just found the attack control. One For The Vine and Entangled were good to the last drop and the audience had the good sense to wait for it, and incidentally I can't wait till next year with some great keyboard parts from those to albums to come. In fact Peirs was also on fire tonight (don't worry "I know a Fireman") and what he did was some of his best work that I have witnessed.

The bass, the unsung hero, it looks effortless and unimportant but is as crucial as a ("getting out the marrow in your") back bone is to a vertebrate - and a job Dave seems to relish and excel at. There are few (if any)occasions that this instrument allows the player to be seen as a virtuoso, the closest being the quiet part of Motherlode. The pedals are also an essential but usually forgotten part of the sound we love and no where near as easy as logic would dictate; so lets hear it for Dave - just be careful on the new harmonies with Chris and I'm not talking about the backing vocals here. Lets be clear here, it was a great performance - don't forget my ticket numbers were 001 and 002; and can't think of a time I wont follow these guys.

Terry was up for it tonight, at last he was using his power and was able to hit some notes missed before and hold them for longer - and needn't have worried, no one noticed the words he forgot - they were enjoying themselves too much to do that. PC said for his gigs last year he intentionally kept away from too much ad-libbing the harmonies to let the melody come through, but these can be fun and live almost expected; so do more of that Terry, we want it. My only concern was that he didn't need our help to guide him through Carpet Crawl, but he can be assured we will be back on 20th Feb!

There is little that I can say to summarise the night that would do it justice, infact "a name would stain", but Genesis music has been a big part of my life for most of it and these guys have kept it real for me and I want them to know how much I appreciate it; and I know John does too. G2 are a tribute to Genesis and this email is my tribute to them. Dave Mac. Yes.Yes.Yes. I Know what I like.

Chris Batson: 05 November - All the lads agreed, it was a great gig and the setting was superb. Jeff being new to it was awestruck. Observing the crowd was like watching people possessed at a religious gathering, you had them in the palm of your hand. The lighting was the best I have ever seen it, they must have spend a bit of time planning that and it really complimented the skills on the stage. Many thanks, Chris.

Tony Pennance: 11 November - Hi Dave, sorry I didnt get chance to chat at Charterhouse - what a fantastic evening! I met some new forumites as well which was nice... Eagerly waiting Pacific Road now, think thats the next time I will see you guys. Cheers, Tony.

Andy: 15 November - It was the first time we had seen G2 a couple of weeks ago at Charterhouse. We can't say enough how impressed we were with your authentic Genesis sound (we struggled to hear any difference) and the whole concert in such a historic setting was very memorable. Even better, a lot of money was raised for a good cause. Travelling from Norwich, we made a weekend of it and visited the area - a really good break. Do you have any plans to do the same next year, as we'll be there again if so! Best wishes, Andy & Valerie.

Greer Calvert: 22 November - Hi all, What another great show at Charterhouse. Having been at the 2007 event I wondered and was a little concerned if it was possible to get all that atmosphere and feeling up to the same levels. I needn't have worried. You guys really delivered and we all responded in kind - you are going to do it in 2009, aren't you? I really liked the medley of tracks & snipets, a refreshing new take on familiar things, and it must have taken some rehearsal. I was slightly impressed! I still really love the acoustic tracks slotted in after a power section, and keep up the harmony vocals (too many bands get lazy on that score, including the great band themselves). I really loved The Cinema Show especially the keyboards section of course. And the encore Firth of Fifth - I could go on and on! What a night, and I'll be there for the next one, Greer.

Simon Strong: 25 November - Hi to you all, Thank you for a fantastic night at Charterhouse weekend before last - it was a truly memorable evening. Look forward to seeing you play again in the New Year. Best regards, Simon.

Cheese & Grain - Somerset
Steve Richardson: 12 March - Once again i set of to see my favorite band G2 down at Frome and as aways it was a great gig. After a few minor problems with the sound early on down to a temperamental pa system i believe, the boys came up with fantastic set with all the classic Genesis songs from the early years. Suppers Ready, Cinema show, The Lamb, just to name a few, over two hours of vintage tracks it was a great night. If you have not seen the band before and you are Genesis or prog rock fans can i urge you all to get down to Marlborough on March 29th and see these boys live you will not be disapointed, and they will not play at a better venue for sound and veiw as i have seen many gigs there and it is superb. Steve Richardson
Customs House - South Shields
Heather Richards: 20 July - My furthest trip to see you all play (so far!) and well worth the effort as always. The lighting was particularly spectacular last night - I just wish I was allowed to take photographs in theatres, where it is always at it's best. Thanks for a great show guys. I now have to be patient until September, when I can do it all again at The Brook. Can't wait! Thank you for a great night and for keeping this wonderful music LIVE. Take care Hebsy

Mike: 21 July - Hi G2 and technical team, can I thank ALL of the band and the technical support for the stunning show on Saturday at the Customs House South Shields. Being a long-serving Genesis fan, I rapidly found myself bellowing out song lyrics and doing air guitar (and more interestingly, "air keyboards" along with Piers!) whilst taking pictures.

You meticulously recreated the sights and sounds of mid 70s Genesis but I think the audience response showed that you did a whole lot more; your professionalism, dedication to detail and obvious pleasure in what you do generated a wonderful atmosphere that I have rarely experienced at any gig. The clarity and quality of sound was exceptional; from the "Hackett work" of Chris' guitar, the huge depth of the Dave's bass and bass-pedals to the huge multi-layered choral sounds of Piers' keyboards you got the Genesis sound to perfection. That bloke on vocals wasn't half bad either!! Thanks again for a brilliant night - you "southern softies" (Terry's words, not mine) MUST come up here again - and soon. A wonderful night listening to the songs of my youth. I brought my two teenage sons with me - we all arrived Genesis fans. We left huge G2 fans. Exceptional. Mike Rowe

Simon: 21 July - Brilliant! What a fantastic night. You get better every time I see you. Your accuracy and attention to detail is second to none and the Genesis sound lives on in all its complexity. You were a great hit with everyone there and what a great personal atmosphere it was. You are a great team and special thanks should go to your back room boys and all involved in putting on your show. Saw you last in 2003, hopefully it will not be so long to the next time. (Terry, have you lost weight?) Best wishes to all of you. Simon Cooper

Alan Willy: 21 July - Wow. Awesome. When are you coming back? Alan

Fletcher Christian: 21 July - Hello All! I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for a great show at the Customs House on Saturday. Everyone in attendance was blown away and more than one or two people have been in touch to describe their experiences; undoubtedly you guys touched a few heart strings in recreating the music that so many people love so much. The whole operation, from Colin to the sound and lights guys deserve praise – you have a good team there and you should be proud of them – rightly so. I will be keeping in touch with you guys and would love to hear from you all soon. Regards, Fletch

David McDonald: 22 July - Hello, thanks for coming up to South Shields the gig was fantastic, hope you can come up again in the near future. Thanks, David

Paul Gillooly: 18 August - Hi guys. Apologies for the delay in writing this review but I was waiting for a certain “video” to become available – see below. I checked back through the website and it seems hard to believe but my only other posting on the “Your Views” section goes back to 27th February 2001! I have seen so many brilliant G2 shows over the years and I really should have posted something in the interim. Anyway about the gig; I can honestly say that the encore alone made our 500 mile round trip from our new home in Aberdeen more than worth it. I won’t spoil the surprise for those readers who may be going to see you in the next few months but suffice to say the revamped encore of Volcano/Los Endos with something very very special sandwiched in between them took my breath away – it really was one of those spine-tingling moments that came as a total surprise. My compliments to Piers for suggesting the arrangement in the first place.

As for the rest of the gig, well seeing that I have seen the band at least once a year for the past 7 years, I sometimes think it was a good thing that I haven’t written more reviews as I would have undoubtedly run out of superlatives by now. Everybody was on top form; Chris’s guitar during the Rooftops/Unquiet Slumber/In that Quiet Earth section was knock out as usual, Piers bravely working his way through the piano intro to Firth of Fifth, Terry singing his heart out, Dave providing the more than solid bass to every tune and last but by no means least, Jeff’s drumming during Cinema Show bringing thunderous applause from the enthusiastic crowd. My favourite adjective for G2 came out once again that the end of the show - “Awesome!”

Anne was glad to be of assistance to Jeff and Chris in getting waitress service in a packed bar beforehand (“Excuse me, these guys are in the band” seemed to work wonders) and we can now add to our rock and roll CV that we have had breakfast with G2 as well! Lastly, following Terry’s moan that there are no vocal clips of G2 on Youtube and my threat to beat him to it, the video clip from the Robin2 (02/06/07) that I showed you has made its way onto Youtube courtesy of my daughter Nina (thanks Ninkle). She said that she felt that she owed to her mother Anne "to know what sort of man she had married". Just type in my name and it should come up under the heading "Paul Gillooly does G2 (Genesis)" All the best for Charterhouse, sorry we won’t be able to make it but will definitely hook up with you in 2009. Take it easy. Paul Gillooly

Mike Fothergill: 25 August - Just thought I'd drop a line to say how much we enjoyed the South Shields show on 19th July. The sound quality was superb (why can't so-called 'professional' bands match it) and from a personal perspective, the set list was near perfect. Good to see G2 in the North-East - don't make it a 'once-only' visit !! Mike

Memorial Hall - Marlborough College
Andrew Galliver: 31 March - Dear G2, thanks for that superb performance at Marlborough on Saturday night, we had a great time and will see you again...at Marlborough? Andrew.

Heather Richards: 01 April - Just to say a big thank to all the guys, both on and off stage, for a fabulous evening at Marlborough on Saturday. What a fantastic venue! It is always such a pleasure to see you play and watching you all set up in the interval made me appreciate even more the hard work you all put in. Thank you for keeping it LIVE! Keep up the good work! Hebsy

Paul Chandler: 01 April - I cannot begin to describe how special Saturday was! It was always going to be a logistical nightmare getting both bands set up. Seeing Chris go to the rescue of Tony's bass strap just about summed up the atmosphere of the whole day. The band members and the crew worked so well together to get it ready on time. Example: Jeff was helping Steve put his drum kit back in place after the G2 sound check, Piers was helping Tom make final adjustments, Paolo and Dave were helping sort out the problem with Steve's synthesized percussion. I could go on. Lee is an absolute genius and he worked very hard all day stopping only very briefly for pizza. I don't think I have ever worked with such a great bunch of guys. Thanks again and I hope to see you all again soon.

Steve Richardson: 01 April - Hi Dave, it was great to finally meet you and the rest of the boys after seeing your gigs so many times. Although I was completely knackered when I got in I really enjoyed the day. It was a real eye opener to see the G2 monster in all its glory. I'm sure the fans don't realise the hours you guys put in for the love of your music. It was very obvious to me that the buzz for you guys is playing the music to a live audience shouting for more at the end, than any financial gain which I'm sure doesn't go far for the hours you put in. Piers kindly showed me the intro of the lamb in slow motion to see if it would help me (I think its above my limited skills) and all the guys were so welcoming. All the best, Steve

Mr Kyps - Poole
Trevor Farrow: 25 February - Cheers for the show @ Mr Kyps last night. Great show as always and a power out in Supper to boot, but it showed the calm, relaxed professionalism that Terry/Chris can banter through an upset and then you pick up and go again.

I believe it was the end of a 3 night "mini tour" and although Terry seemed to be visibly struggling (cough-sweets, hot drink and water), I thought it was possibly the best vocal performance I have seen him give, he gets better with every show!, so please pass on a well done...

Particularly enjoyed hearing a couple of tracks I have not heard you do before (In the Cage, Musical Box finale &???? I didn't know the track Terry introduced as "we don't know how to play"). What was it please? Looking forward to the THE BROOK in Sept, all the hard work is truly appreciated. Trevor Farrow

Stephen Leitch: 26 February - Hi dave many thanks to you and the rest of the G2 crew for a very interesting and entertaining Sunday after two days on the road and a very long drive down from wales most of you looked fit to drop let alone set up and play another gig but as usual you found the energy and enthusiasm to perform yet another superb gig without any problems apart from the moment when you lost power towards the end of suppers ready ! how that must have really annoyed you but no with the true passion and commitment you guys give to playing you went on an finished the number incredible.

I know piers and terry asked me to choose the set list but I couldn’t have written it better myself all the old favourites were in there particulary enjoyed cinema show that’s apart from suppers ready an all time classic enjoyed by all. It’s the first time that ive been behind the scenes at a gig and now when I get to see yourselves perform or any other band I can truly appreciate the hard work time and effort that goes into putting on a show you attention to detail was immense and I must thank Paolo and the 2 Daves for their very professional way they went about their work. I know its you guys up front that get the applause but these guys are the unsung heros of G2

I know it was the first time that you played this venue and you must have been pleased with the turnout if was a Friday or Saturday you would have sold out im sure. Any way good luck for Birkenhead and Sheffield and many thanks again to Colin Davies for the Chinese and a big big thankyou to all of the rest of the G2 crew for making myself and my mate Steve feel really welcome (hope we didn’t get in the way to much), Steve leitch

Dave Procter: 26 February - Fantastic set at Kyps on Sunday - make sure to come back, full house next time for sure. Dave Procter

Dave Moore: 26 February - Dear G2 boys, What an excellent night at the Kyps! A faultless set and performance throughout. Very enjoyable indeed. Will look forward to the Brook in September. Cheers Dave Moore

Kevin Moran: 23 March - Just wanted to say I was at your show at Mr Kyps in Poole recently and all I can say is YES you did get it right!! Right from the start of Watcher of the Skies until the end I was very impressed, even when the light went out towards the end of ‘Suppers Ready’ you did not loose it. Looking forward to another show... Cheers, Kevin

Pacific Road Arts Centre - Birkenhead
Martin: 01 March - Guys, just a short mail to say "cheers" for a really top gig at Birkenhead last night - awesome stuff!! Looking forward to your return in November - keep up the good work!!! Cheers, Martin

Paul Reay: 02 March - Great Gig, all the classic Genesis oldies, what a rockin night. Look forward to seeing you southern softies next time round. Thanks, Paul

Steve Edwards: 03 March - Dave, what a night!!! I went along with 8 other friends last Fri night to Pacific Rd in Birkenhead to see you and the rest of the band. What a great night. Afterglow, Ripples and Los Endos and Dance on a Volcano all brilliant. That’s without considering the earlier tracks of Blood on The Rooftops and Suppers Ready and Cinema Show. We all stood around afterwards chatting about how good you all where. In fact over the course of the weekend as we met each other all we could do was mention how much we enjoyed the show.

So I understand from your reaction to the crowd that you really like Pacific Rd as a venue. It’s great isn’t it? In answer to your flyer concerning a forthcoming concert with the playlist of “Trick of the Tail” & “Wind & Wuthering”. We are all very interested. Will you be coming back to Pacific Rd? If you do I know of at least another half dozen folk who would love to come with us to see you. Anyway once again thanks to the band for a great night. Regards, Steve.

Peter: 04 March - Gentlemen WHAT A SUPERB EVENING’S ENTERTAINMENT!!! I refer to the concert last Friday in Birkenhead, my only regret being that the place wasn’t packed out to witness such a show. I saw you in Stoke last year but last week was so much better despite slight problems with the sound. I first saw Genesis in 1970 supporting Lindisfarne at the Top Rank in Liverpool and have been an avid fan ever since seeing them over 30 times spanning now 37 years (with a bit of a break since the Calling All Stations tour ).

It was wonderful to see such talented musicians play some of my favourite tunes of all time, especially Suppers Ready, and I cannot wait until November when you are due back at the same venue. My nephew, who came with me, wasn’t alive in 1970 and is really cheesed off that he has never seen the “proper” line up (he did go to see the group in Manchester last year though) perform stuff like Watcher of the skies which he thought was immense. Once again many thanks and I look forward to seeing you again soon. All the very best for the future and please do Suppers Ready in between Trick of the Tail & Wind & Wuthering, or as the encore. Peter Way-Rider

James Davies: 05 March - HI I SAW YOUR GIG AT THE PACIFIC ROAD BIRKENHEAD AND YOU JUST BLEW ME AND THE FRIEND WAS WITH AWAY. THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEE YOUR SHOW AND IT WAS FANTASTIC YOU JUST BROUGHT TO LIFE THE MUSIC OF GENESIS. THE CROWD REALLY ENJOYED THE GIG TOO I THINK NEXT TIME YOU PLAY THE WORD WILL GET ROUND HOW GOOD THE SHOW IS AND THE CROWD WILL BE MUCH BIGGER. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SHOW SEE YOU NEXT TIME. JIMMY.

Nick Chadwick: 05 March - Guys, Saw your Birkenhead gig. Absolutely suberb. Ive got to say I enjoyed it more than our friends who appeared at Old Trafford as part of their comeback last summer. The planned autumn show sounds great. Please come back to Birkenhead as promised. Im sure the turn out will be even better. Regards Nick.

John Spargo: 07 March - Hi Guys, A couple of years ago I went to see you guys at Cannock. Nothing unusual about that, except for the fact that I had to drive 300 miles to get there, and another 300 to get back. Was it worth the journey? - aboslutely! Thought you were perfect! Great sound, great musicianship all round, great music. That gig couldn't be bettered I thought.

I promised myself another trip if you guys ever played north of Birmingham again. It's only a 400 mile round trip to Birkenhead. I didn't think it was possible, but somehow you managed to top the Cannock show. I was completely bowled over. I can't thank you enough for recreating this beautiful music. It's breathtaking! I play guitar myself, and used to be a drummer. I've played keyboards too in my youth, but you guys are in a different league. Every one of you. Keep it up, and see you in Wearside in July. The hairs on the back of my neck should have just about stopped standing on end by then. PS - great set list too! Inside and Out was a real surprise and a treat! Best regards, John Spargo.

Helen Worster: 27 March - Greetings! It has taken me a few weeks to get round to this but still just wanted to say how much I loved the concert at Pacific Road Birkenhead. It was well worth the trip up from Portsmouth and it was lovely to meet you guys albeit briefly! The show was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was so warm and friendly - Northerners!! I had been telling Neil about you since I started to see you at The Brook and it has been great to share in his excitement putting the concert on. We have been reliving the memories this evening! Hoping to try to get to Marlborough but if not will wait patiently to see you all at The Brook later in the year. Many thanks for providing so much entertainment for so many people. Blessings, Helen.

Phil Hughes: 03 April - Hi chaps, Sorry for the delay, but had to tell you how much we enjoyed your concert at Pacific Road, Birkenhead. Wonderful musicianship and fabulous set list. My friend (fanatical Genesis fan and tour veteran since the early 70s) had come over from Bakewell in Derbyshire and was absolutely blown away too. What a great night. Hope you’re serious about coming back to Pacific Road in November – we’ll be first in the line for tickets! Keep up the good work – you guys are absolutely brilliant. Cheers, Phil.

Riga Music Bar - Westcliff on Sea
Joe Cleavely: 12 April - helllo again!!! well its the morning after the riga gig and im still buzzing a fantastic gig again gentlemen!!! entangled and ripples were super suppers ready was even better and los endos well what can i say im speechless!!! thanks again for playing the music of the greatest band on the planet!!! thanks again joe p.s never forget about essex keep coming back!!!

Guy Venables: 12 April - great show at the riga last night, cheers.

Louise DuCarey: 13 April - Hi guys. Once again thank you for a great night out at the Riga Bar and only 30 minutes drive this time to see you. After seeing you at Milton Keynes (shouting out supper’s ready) and last year at Charterhouse (unfortunately at the back), I could not wait to see you all again at the Riga bar. I spoke to you both briefly at the end of your gig (lady who was a little drunk but was so happy to be able to talk to you and tell you how much I enjoyed your music etc ) I just hope I never embarrassed myself Opps! I get lost in your music and then back to reality the next day (work yuk!), but then I will see you all again at Otford Memorial Hall in Sevenoaks in 2 weeks time. Hope I don’t get there too late as I will end up at the back and I am only little ha ha. I have just booked tickets to see you all again in July in Milton Keynes (2nd row). Until then I am looking forward to seeing you again in 2 weeks time for another wicked night out. Louise X.

Rob: 14 April - Hi Dave, It was great to see you all again at Riga. I know the smaller venues do not show the maximum effect of your performance but it's all we have in Southend! As ever, the set was spellbinding, all the favourite classics and did we get our money's worth or what. I was hoping to get to see Genesis at Twickenham, but from what I have heard we were better off seeing yourselves for the real experience. You capture the period so well. I sincerely hope the effort is all worth while for you all, you deserve it. Please come back again, don't desert us! My best to all the band and team, Rob (Chalice, Southend's prog rock band)

Dave Mac: 15 April - Many too many have stood where I stand and we hope to stand there many more times too. So the boys were back in (my) town and we had waited since Charterhouse for this day to arrive - and for The Riga it was packed, quite a result as there was very little local advertising that we could see. Another milestone for Bekki as Twickenham was the real thing and Charterhouse was unique; now she was able to witness, and at very close quarters, why we follow G2 - as we always do at this venue, we made our camp as close to the stage as we could without being on it - which I'm sure will happen one day - especially as I know how much Terry and Dave appreciated our guide vocals to Carpet Crawl.

The atmosphere usually builds with The Lamb loop, providing us with the feel and mood for the evening; I say usually because there was something wrong tonight (tonight, tonight) which I choose to believe the blame should be on The Riga's shoulders. The set list, as always, was pure what we want to hear - which is why we are here - I know John would like more PG era contributions but he doesn't allow that fact to detract from the fact that he knows these guys are good - personally the second phase of Genesis is where my heart lies (but if the heart lies - what then?) I think I may have seen G2 more than Genesis now - and as familiar with them as I feel now marking them out of ten doesn't feel quite right anymore.

With my classical guitar learning and background Chris is always going to get my admiration, if nothing else for making me wish I never gave up. Piers just seems to be getting better and better' Firth intro is just to easy now, I challenge him (and the boys) to master Mad Man Moon - live! Dave's bass, as I was so close to it this time, as always was the spine of the show - surprising how insensitive those pedals seem to be or are they polyphonic? Jeff, he's even better when he is blinded by the light - and it hurts! Terry, with our support and the balance sorted out you made it - we just wanna hear you more m8. A great night, as always and more of you should come with us and support our past. Dave Mac.

Paul: 16 April - Hi Guys, Saw you last Friday at Club Riga in Southend and just like to thank you for an absolutely fantastic, musically perfect show and it made a change to see a show that wasn't so loud it made ya ears ring for the next 3 days. This was the second time I've see you guys and brought along a mate who I kept telling that you were brilliant and you didn't let me down - in fact I enjoyed it better than a real Genesis gig (as you played all my favourite "old" stuff rather than the newer commercial stuff). You are a credit to your profession and worth EVERY single penny of the £10 entrance fee. Well done for bringing perfectly played classic rock to very appreciative fans - keep up the great work and PLEASE come back to Essex soon as can't wait to see you again. Regards Paul Thwaites

Anne & Joanne: 22 April - Saw you in Southend the other Friday, you were awesome, get better each time we see you, look forward to when you are back here again, love, Ann and Joanne

Robin 2 - Bilston - West Midlands
Ged Hayes: 20 April - Hi Dave, I managed to get down to the Robin last night but couldn't hang around after to say hello. I needed to get back after being up from 5 in the morning for a shift at work. Having said all that it was another magnificent gig last night and please pass on my thanks to the rest of the G2 collective for their efforts. Brilliant. I was glad I could make it last night after disappointingly missing the two gigs you did 'oop north' recently at Sheffield and Birkenhead. Although I'm very much lighter in the pocket because of the price of bloody petrol these days it was well worth the trip.

I shouldn't nitpick because it was a brilliant atmosphere but I was a little put off by the crowd at times. I struggled to hear some of the subtleties and intricate details you can get with the music of Genesis against a background of a few hundred people bellowing in my ears behind me. But who am I to argue against such a great turn out, as long as they all enjoyed it. Anyway, hopefully we'll see you all again very soon in a more convivial setting somewhere close by. Bolton perhaps?,.... Moses Gate? Where it all started for me,... who knows? Thanks again for a fantastic night. Ged

Heather Richards: 20 April - A big thank you to ALL the guys for a fabulous time at The Robin last night. I always love to see you play, but up close and loud is the way I like it best. As ever, if there is anything I can do to keep the G2 monster going - just ask! Hebsy.

Steve Hammond: 21 April - Hello David, I just wanted to thank you, Terry, Chris, Jeff, Piers, Paulo and the 2 other Daves' for everything last Saturday. I know that you had a late arrival and a shortened soundcheck but I did enjoy seeing things build up from a bare stage and chatting a little with most of you. It was great to hear Chris playing while everyone else was busy setting up. The show itself was amazing, as they all have been for me for some time now. I liked the setlist changes, hearing the Blood Suite at the end of the show was a nice change and to hear Inside and Out played live again after 31 years was a treat.

I've run out of adjectives to describe the band's performances but believe me, we are all priviliged to still be hearing this marvellous music being played live, so passionately and so well. It's also nice to have met so many good people through following the band. Finally, thanks to Terry for the ad hoc dedication for Richard's teacher. She really appreciated that and is a big fan herself. Looking forward to repeating the experience soon. Thanks again, Steve, Julie and Rich

Jonathan Davis: 23 April - Hi guys, Just wanted to drop you a line to say how much I enjoyed the concert at the Robin last weekend. I last saw Genesis at Drury Lane in 1980, and your show took me right back there. Really hope that you can keep the good work, and I'm already looking forward to seeing you again whenever you are back in this neck of the woods! Cheers Jon

Sala Heineken - Madrid
Javier: 31 January - From Madrid, Thanks a lot for the wonderfull concert of 29th. Please keep me informed about your next visit to Spain: I won't miss it and for sure we wil be more people!!! Hopping see you again soon. Javier Ruiz-Larrea
Theatr Brycheiniog - Brecon - Powys
Mark: 24 February - Went to the brecon show last night and it was awesome - not a bad track played. The musicianship was excellent especially the introduction to firth of fifth and Terrys singing was first rate. Please return to south wales asap as it is the only chance to here most of these fantastic songs live. Keep up the good work G2. Regards, Mark Davies

Richard Davis: 25 February - Thank you Gentlemen for another superb show and thanks for coming to Brecon again even though I had to wait far too long between tours to see you again. What can I say? You are truly fantastic musicians who pay great attention to detail and time getting the sounds spot on. I was greatly entertained and marvelled at the accuracy of the keyboard sounds to the original. The brilliant guitar sounds and playing. The detail of the bass playing and the inexhaustible drumming. I could go on and praise more but there's no need. It's all been said before. Just remember guys like you are much appreciated. Please come to Hereford as it would save me an 80 mile round trip. Richard Davis

Darren Brook: 19 March - Hi Guys, saw you recently at the Brynceiniog Theatre Brecon (after my first gig at Charterhouse last year...which was excellent by the way!). Just wondered if you had considered doing a gig at a venue in Cardiff call the point. It seems to be getting to be a popular venue and I'm sure you could get a good crowd in. All the best, Darren

The Boardwalk - Sheffield
Jeremy Foulds: 02 March - First visit to a G2 gig. Fantastic night. Amazing to hear a number of tracks that I hadn't heard live before e.g. Entangled. A wonderful night so many, many thanks. Jeremy

Alan Clarke: 03 March - Did Sheffield, thought you were all on top form. G2 now twice ReGenesis 4 or 5 times, keep together, Alan.

Shaun Case: 05 March - Hi, just want to say what a fantastic gig it was on Saturday night. Having seen the band quite a few times in the last few years I thought I knew what to expect! How wrong I was. Felt sorry for Terry having to croak through the show but it didn't come out too bad. I have to say the show blew me and my son away.

Having seen you only in halls before, I wondered how your show would translate to the smaller venues. I needn't have worried. From the very first note through to the cracking finale, the gig was first class. The sound seemed much rawer than usual (maybe the venues, smaller confines but this only added to the atmosphere. Suppers Ready was the best I've ever heard the song, even by Genesis. The band were obviously enjoyed themselves on stage and this came over. Piers seemed to be the butt of most of their wisecracks!

G2 have to be the ultimate Genesis tribute band. You play with such enthusiasm and skill, obviously enjoying ever note that you play. My son, who first saw you when he was 11, celebrated seeing his 16th birthday on Saturday and sends his thanks for such a great birthday present - the best G2/Genesis gig he's attended. Shaun Case

Cundy: 11 March - Fantastic gig at the Boardwalk 1st of March. You have now actually turned me onto the early Collins' stuff. Great listening. Fantastic stories, well illustrated by an amazing band. If you don't remember I was the intoxicated youth who rambled on about those bloody great Moog Pedals. Thanks, Cundy.

The Brook - Southampton
Stephen Leitch: 29 September - At last G2 back at the BROOK it seems like an age ago since you last played there and what a night from the opening of watcher to los endos you all performed superblyand piers didn’t even fluff the opening to the firth of fifth despite terry putting him under pressure.my favourites had to be dancing with the moonlit night and the sequence from the lamb and as usual suppers ready this song really is a rock classic I cant imagine any band nowadays writing a song so involved or indeed as long so its areal credit to you all that you can perform it and give it the justice that it deserves.

A big mention must go to COLIN DAVIES, DAVE GROVE and DAVE AUSTIN as between them they keep the G2 machine running like a well oiled machine the lighting and sound at each gig is as good as at many larger gigs that ive been to. Hope you were pleased with the turnout I would say that there must have been at least three hundred people? Not bad for a Sunday night im sure the drive back to London must have been a lot more comfortable seeing that you were using a proper tour bus at least most of you could get some sleep next time it might be a learjet! Thanks again for a great night see you all at the bar at charterhouse for a beer or two, Stephen

Jackie Hallowes: 30 September - You must all be pretty knackered now!!! I was and I hadn't done 3 gigs in 3 different counties in 3 days!!! As usual you were fab fab fab and I don't think i will ever get fed up seeing you, can't wait till the next time! You are all looking well and Terry has lost some considerable weight but looks good on it! I do believe you too have lost a little bit? Unlike myself who drinks and eats too much! Our friends were a little confused by the music (all the different tempo changes etc!!!) but thought you were brill musicians! They are a bit younger than myself (who isn't???) but still enjoyed the evening. We had a fab weekend and felt a bit deflated coming home on Monday! When you were all probably back at work!

I'm so bloody annoyed that more didn't turn up for the gig in Penzance and sadly I guess that the Cornwall branch of the G2 fan club will now suffer? No matter, we will still come to see you at the Brook or elsewhere that we can get to!!! Anyway, as I already said it was lovely to see you again and I'm so chuffed you all remembered me!...am I that memorable or just annoying??? Looking forward to the next time! Lotsa luv, Jackie

Steve Barney: 30 September - Really enjoyed the Brook gig on Sunday evening - good staying power from you guys after the previous 2 (mini tour). Thought at times your keys were a little low in the mix but it didn't spoil the enjoyment. Steve

Heather Richards: 30 September - Thank you to ALL the guys for another fabulous night at The Brook. It was great to have a different mix in the set, but I did miss Entangled (it took me ages to realise that your guitar was missing, so it couldn’t be included!) that song has always been my favourite Genesis track. Thanks again to everyone for keeping it LIVE! Take care, Hebsy

The Stables - Milton Keynes
Alan & Steph: 12 July - Hi. Was at Charterhouse last year on the Friday night thought your set was brilliant then? Have just returned from seeing you at the Stables, you were even better (even though Terry forgot the words). Maybe it was because of the venue, but the sound, lighting and visuals were fantastic. Hope to be at Charterhouse again this year. Alan & Steph

Hollands: 12 July - Was at the show tonight at MK. You guys really need to get this thing off the ground. You’re too good to be doing just a few shows. Saw Aussie Floyd earlier this year and they’re getting bigger. But G2 are a class act and outperform the Aussies easily with better musicianship along with a real sense that the band are enjoying every minute. Hope to see you again soon and see if you can step this up.

Paul Woodham: 12 July - To All, I had the pleasure of being entertained again by you all again last night and I have to say it was a shear & total pleasure - AWESOME. Going through a miserable time (health) at the mo and music is a great tonic for me and last nights set/performance just the best tonic of all. The choice of songs were just spot on and your time and efforts plus yer talents, really shine through. Thoroughly enjoyed and big thanks and please keep it going. And will defiantly catch you again, Paul

Andrew: 12 July - Thank you G2 for an excellent performance last night. First time I have been to one of your shows and I can tell you, it will not be the last. You sound more like Genesis than,.. well ,Genesis. Every note, every sound perfectly reproduced to what I have heard ,over the years, on my Genesis recordings. I did`nt know Phil Collins had a brother but he was there last night singing all my favourite Genesis songs with all the accuracy of the great man himself. You are all masters of your craft and long may you run. Look foreward to seeing you again. Best Wishes, Andrew Pearce

Paul Gibson: 12 July - Hi,saw you for the first time last night and you were all superb, i saw genesis at drury lane, the lamb at wembley and pg many times but when you played fly on a windshield and the following instrumentles i actually had shivers and tears running down my face only happened once before at a peter green slow song, so thanks for a great night, just got our tickets for charterhouse see you then, Paul and Catherine

Heather Richards: 13 July - A big thank you to ALL the guys for a fabulous night at The Stables. It was great to see you playing to the capacity audience you deserve. I was talking to the lady next to me (a first timer) before the show and, as usual, was waxing lyrical about how good you all are. She looked a little sceptical, but at the end of the first number she turned to me and said, "Now I understand why you travel so far to see them - they're FANTASTIC." She spent the rest of the evening with a huge grin on her face - which was nearly as big as mine! I know this project takes a monumental amount of effort from all of you, but rest assured it is greatly appreciated by all us G2/Genesis nutters who love our music LIVE! Many many thanks, Hebsy

Andy: 13 July - Chaps, just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed the concert at Milton Keyenes on Saturday. Extremely excellent but I do have one suggestion... Let Jeff do his drum solo you misterable sods!!! Good to meet you afer the gig and see you in Charter House! Andy

Anita Watson: 13 July - Just seen you at MK. Was brilliant. A seated, fairly quiet venue so was pleased to get one of the few balcony tickets so that I could sing and go mad without anyone noticing. Seen you a couple of times but was so impressed with the drummer this time and everyone else of course. A few odd notes/timings the only thing to distract me from the real thing. Loved Ripples, Entangled, Cinema Show, Firth of Fifth but absolutely ESTATIC to hear It's Yourself leading into Los Endos to finish. Even the Stables loved the show x

Paul: 14 July - Hello Guys, just like to thank you all for a superb evenings entertainment. It was almost exactly a year ago since I saw Genesis at Twickenham, and this was just the ticket to ‘recharge the batteries’ I can’t thank you enough for playing the Dance on a Volcano, It’s Yourself, Los Endos combination. I have always wanted to hear this live, and it works really well. I wonder how many in the audience realised what was being played (are they making it up?). Perhaps if you’re feeling brave enough in the future you might tackle Duke’s Piece, (Behind the Lines, Duchess, Guide Vocal, Duke’s Travels, Duke’s End) as this was also written as one piece of music and split up. Good luck with your future shows – the Charterhouse gig sound interesting. Paul Carpenter

Rose Whiteley: 14 July - Terrific gig on Friday night at the Stables - thanks everyone! We'd not seen you before but we'll certainly see you again! Rose & Phil

Kerstin: 27 July - Been meaning to say for the last couple of weeks, many thanks for a great night at Wavendon (Milton Keynes). It is always a thrill to see you guys, but I was delighted to see that not only was it sold out, but the theatre also added standing room places too to cope with demand. Fantastic to see that word is getting round. You deserve that level of following so much. And what a great crowd at Wavendon! So many people were on their feet to applaud from very early on. It is wonderful to see G2 getting such well-deserved appreciation. Can't wait for you to come to Redhill next year. Meanwhile, looking forward to Charterhouse in November. All the best, Kerstin Hinkley

The Wharf - Devon
Jeremy Petts: 28 September - I would just like to thank you all for a fantastic evening. I wasnt expecting you all to be that good but you were superb and it was well worth the hour drive from Torquay. If you ever need help with promotion down this way dont hesitate to contact me. Thanks again, Jeremy Petts

Fiona Tomkinson: 28 September - Just wanted to say THANK YOU - I had the privilege of seeing your gig at Tavistock Wharf yesterday. Your dedication, passion and musicianship are outstanding. I have felt a sense of injustice for years that I was born too late for the Gabriel era, and this was marvellous compensation! Fiona

David Strutt: 28 September - Hi G2. Saw you in Tavistock yesterday. Absolutely brilliant. Great to hear Blood on the Rooftops live! Hope you visit this part of the world again. Cheers, Dave

David Howe: 29 September - Dear G2, my wife and I caught your performance at The Wharf, which was the 1st time we have seen you (and probably won't be the last time if you come down this way again). The turnout and reception you received was completely justified as you totally captured the sound of Genesis - you were great!!! The only minor disappointment for me, as a dedicated Peter Gabriel/Genesis fan (I only ever bougth the 1st 2 Phil Collins/Genesis albums and then lost interest), was you choice of final song for you enchore...although you performed it extremely well, I would have prefered a Gabriel/Genesis track, and lets face it, there were a few classic ones you could have picked that you hadn't already played that night, e.g. "Visions of Angels", "Watcher of the Skies", "Musical Box" (I noticed you had a clock ("tick-tock") on stage in front of the drum kit), and of course, "I KNOW WHAT I LIKE". Anyway, we hope you come back to Tavistock again soon. Regards, David Howe

G2: After nine years of performing this fantastic Genesis music, there is one thing it continues to nail home, as hard as we try we can't please everyone. We are determined to keep trying though! d:o)

Andrew Ward: 29 September - We really enjoyed the gig - great stuff! Personal highlights were the full intro to Firth Of Fifth - which I did shout out for, but obviously not loud enough - and hearing It's Yourself live for the first time - superb! Thanks again, Andrew Ward

Rob Hopwood: 29 September - Hi Colin, just a quick note to say "fantastic" gig on Saturday at the wharf. Everyone I spoke to was blown away by the evening so now you've broken your Plymouth/Tavistock duck please put us on your list for next time. I reckon it was close to a sell out this time so it's a given that it'll be advance tickets only next time. Word gets around! Thanks again. Took me back 30 odd years at times, Rob

Andy Wise: 29 September - What a show, loved every note, great choice of songs. I'm so glad there was a good crowd there. Took my son along who just got into seconds out on his ipod on his last tour to Afghanistan, he loved the show too. Hope you come back again soon. All the best, Andy

Geoff Buckley: 30 September - What a show. I have always been a big Genesis fan, especially the early years. You really did their music justice. The band is very polished and professional, the sound was authentic and the quality was awesome, - loud but never losing control, the lyrics always being clear and the lighting was superb. All in all a brilliant evening of Genesis music. My wife, although not so familiar with early Genesis music thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Please come back to the Tavistock Wharf again, we will be there. Geoff

Steve Clark: 07 October - Enjoyed the show imensely and can't wait to see you again next year. Thanks for letting me photograph the band. Regards to you all, Steve

Village Memorial Hall - Otford - Kent
Louise DuCarey: 27 April - Hi there me again, Louise. I am beginning to feel like a G2 Groupie. I got the T- Shirt, the signed G2 poster and the signed double CD I won when auctioned last night, all I need is the book? Does that sound sad? Hope not? I woke up this morning to the reality that my evening in Oftord watching G2 live, really had come to an end. I only saw you guys 2 weeks ago and you were even better still, just when I thought you couldn’t get any better than that. I am now having too re-live the experience playing my CD’s in the car until the next one.

It is magical for me to see and hear you guys every gig I go to and enjoy speaking to the other fans after about how good you all are. The whole band was absolutely brilliant and Terry sung his heart out to the max. Just wish the night wouldn’t end sometimes as I enjoy myself so much. I have tickets for your shows in Milton Keynes and for High Wycombe but after that I will not see you at for a long while as the rest of the dates are a little far away. I hope you add some more dates that are not to far away. Once again thank you for a great night.

Jon Vowles: 28 April - Well done for Otford! Quite different from the sit down jobs over the last few years. Great atmosphere. Sound did well in a small area. Lucky lots of people were there to absorb! Must have been hell a the sound check! Inside and Out a great surprise addition! Really full set without a break, well done. Cheers Jon

Nader Sheta: 28 April - Dear G2 I was at the concert at Otford last Saturday. I have been to many concerts and seen Genesis many times. This was my first G2 concert and I was absolutely blown away by it, well done you were terrific. When you finished Supper’s Ready I thought that would be it…I couldn’t believe that you went on and played so much more! I particularly liked the Blood on the rooftops section, very good. When are you next playing around London? Many thanks again for a great night. Nader.

Derek Tozer: 02 May - went to the otford gig last sat, great show as usual lads keep up the good work.

Alan Smith: 06 May - I saw you at Otford recently and loved every minute (as did my mate). I've always regretted not being able to see Genesis live in that period but costumes aside that must have been very close to what it was like. It was great to hear some tracks live for the first time, eg from W&W, and I was truly in 7th heaven! I don't know how much you vary the set list but it would be great to hear a bit more from NC and Trick. You were all great and the standard of playing was very high. It really is very interesting music, very intricate in places and to hear it played so well and with obvious love and attention to detail was fantastic. As you said, it's music that deserves to be kept alive. Plse keep going - I shall certainly be seeing you again soon......I saw Genesis at Twickenham last year and you were 10 times better! All the best, Alan.

Greer Calvert: 10 May - Hi guys, Sorry for being a few weeks late in getting this to you. Of course I loved every minute as usual and I liked the venue. I managed to drag along my wife for the 2nd time, and this time a daughter + boyfriend...he said he really enjoyed it, and I believed him (not too convinced about mum & daughter though!). He didn't know any of the material being more familiar with more recent Genesis stuff. I wonder if he's intrigued enough to want to see you again...my cunning plan is to wait until he raises the subject! See you at Charterhouse, Greer

Wycombe Swan - High Wycombe
Steve Puddick: 24th May - Last night @ HW was one of the the best sets and shows I have seen the band do, they were simply awesome, majestic and the honest opinion of my little group of Genesis fanatics is that we would rather have been there then Twickenham. Anyone not seen G2 must get off their collective butts and head for the nearest show, simply brilliant!!!! Great / intimate / friendly venue with a large and enthusiastic crowd (350/400 'ish) topped by a simply wonderful band!!! What a fab night we had, better buy my charterhouse tickets now!!!

Mark Thomas: 24 May - I really enjoyed the gig yesterday and was astonished that you did 2 numbers I had never heard (the e.p. no and part of the encore). What were they and what are they from? I went with a friend from way back who I hadn’t seen for 20 years but I tracked him down just because of your gig. It turned out he had seen Genesis over 70 times (for example all 3 nights at Drury Lane in 1974 – I only went one night!). I had forgotten how big a fan he was and the interest continues up until Twickenham this year. He was extremely impressed and wants to make future dates. We will organise another old friend who saw Genesis at least 20 times (and interviewed them for a Slough mag in 1971) for later gigs in the year (MK & Southampton are both within reach and Charterhouse looks fascinating). Anyway, many thanks for a great evening and for taking the time to reply and do a song at my request. It is most appreciated. Regards, Mark

Nigel Smith: 27 May - Hi guys. Great show in Wycombe, even though Piers fluffed the Firth Of Fifth intro. Thanks also for keeping your promise and playing Deep In The Motherlode. Regards, Nigel.

Heather Richards: 29 May - Slightly delayed, but still heartfelt thanks for a fabulous night at The Swan. My first visit to High Wycombe - such a great place and what a fantastic audience (don't think I've seen you get a standing ovation in the middle of the set before!) I loved the set changes and can't wait to hear you play the remaining tracks from Trick and Wind. How long until we're treated to both albums in full? Not too long I hope. So, was it worth a 3 hour drive to get there? No question - of course it was! Many many thanks, as always, Hebsy

Stephen Leitch: 29 May - Just as you thought G2 couldn't’t get any better you did what a great night travelled up from Southampton with 4 friends of mine who until that night had never seen G2 they certainly weren't disappointed! Had to listen to you guys again on the journey back as they all thought that you were better than genesis themselves. I thought that the new set that you performed was great it was really refreshing to hear old classics such as entangled, ripples and squonk to name a few and I'm really glad you didn't drop suppers ready what a way to open up the second half of the set.

Poor old piers what can I say I've seen and listened to you many times and that’s the first time he's messed up the intro to firth but still he carried on in his normal cool calm manner that guy is so laid back! And what a musician. Perhaps he was having a john terry moment or was it to much whiskey! A big thank you must also go to the two Dave's and Paulo as the acoustics and lighting were superb. Unfortunately can't make any more gigs until the brook {have already got tickets for charterhouse] so until then enjoy the rest of your gigs and the summer. Steve Leitch

Anthony Williams: 31 May - Hi David, A friend of mine introduced me to G2 and I went to see them recently at Wycombe and was blown away with the quality of their music. They were far better than i had ever expected. Being a real Genesis purist myself, I absolutely adore the early stuff ,I was sceptical that a tribute band would not be able to recreate the unique music. But they do it so well. Really looking forward to Charterhouse in November. Ant Williams

Bits'n'Bobs
Tony Sutton: 03 January - Guys, travelled up to Milton Keynes to see you last year - and so so glad I did! Great to see you've managed to get a booking (at last!) at the Swan Theatre in my home town of Wycombe (well, I say home town I'm actually a yorkshre exile!). Just wondering if my son, who'll be all of 6 months would be a little too young to be introduced to you guys! See you in May! Regards, Tony

Malcolm Calder: 21 February - Hi Guys, you are the very best tribute band that we have seen and we've seen a few. Always like to hear the old stuff from Seconds Out, including Suppers Ready, but your set from Wind and Wuthering etc is great (your CD disc 1 is favourite in-car play!). Saw your last gig at The Brook, similar size, absolute knockout. Look forward to further announcements from you; PLEASE DON'T KNOCK IT ON THE HEAD! Regards, Malcolm Calder (mate of the guy who tried to sell you a ticket to your own gig at Epsom Playhouse!)

Mario Coloini: 16 June - Hi folks, just another boring nightshift here in Vienna and so I listened to and catched a glimpse of your Camberley video. And I promise: If I will ever go back to England (and I am shure I will), I will try to manage to see one of your shows. Thanks for keeping their music alive because who knows if the original ones will ever play it again. Ciao Mario

Paul: 08 July - Hi Guys. Was there at the tremendous gig you did at Pacific Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside at end of Feb

Peter Tasker: 22 July - Hi there, together with a group of friends I saw you perform earlier this year at the Pacific Arts Road Centre in Birkenhead and it was an absolutely GREAT night!!! :( even if you did miss out ‘I Know What I Like’ but with a near 3 hour extravaganza who cares! Everybody agreed you were the ‘Bee’s – knees’ and all want to see you again a.s.a.p!!! Look forward to hearing from you and to seeing you all again SOON! Regards, Pete

Nigel Willis: 20 August - Any plans of coming back to Gloucester this year. Thought your last visit was out of this world. I was never lucky enough to see Genesis perform Suppers Ready but quite frankly you blew me away. Spot on.

Paul: 04 September - Hi guys. Saw you in Birkenhead Merseyside earlier in the year and you blew us all away. You mentioned returning in the Autumn but nothing showing on your site as yet. I for one have a party of at least 8 people 'chomping at the bit' so please come back North. I even saw you at Telford 3 or so years ago, Us Northerners would be willing to travel that far South if you could make it there on a Friday or Saturday. Please do your best lads. Thanks & regards, Paul

Steve Forrester: 09 October - Saw the band in Swindon a few years ago. Absolutely loved it. Supper's Ready in full! Fantastic.
