Astoria - London
Lucy-Anne Wartnaby: 29 May - I feel compelled to drop you a quick email to say how much we all enjoyed the gig(s) last night! It was fantastic although I still lean towards G2 being THE ultimate – especially after Afterglow – but I told you all about that last night – 2 drum sets – wow! To quote my uncle Paul/Peter Gabriel "wannabe with the hair" – god love him - "Awesome!" Please pass on our thanks to the rest of the band members for such a superb Sunday night! Take care and kind regards Lucy-Anne

Richard: 29 May- I would just like to say i thought the show on sunday was exellent, ive been a genesis fan for years and have always brushed aside the thought of a tribute band. I thought the music was spot on and the singing not bad either (only joking) I look foreward to seeing g2 again soon. well done lads Regards Richard

Øystein Hage: 29 May - Hello from Norway! I just wanted to send my congratulations for a great show in London. What a concert! :-) It was fab to hear you play with two drummers. Thanks for making it a special night! best wishes Oystein, Bergen, Norway

Stephen Leitch: 29 May- thanks for a superb night at the astoria as normal G2 performed to their normal superb standard. especially enjoyed the cinema show and for me my first experience of you guys playing some of the later genesis numbers i.e abacab, and deep in the motherlode. even though myself amongst others thought that the astoria was a complete dump this was more than compensated for by an excellent sound and light system which im sure gave each and every number its own unique visual and acoustic identity. id like to thank all of G2 and everyone concerned with the evening for all their dedicated enthusiasm and hard work, look forward to seeing you all at the brook in southampton in the very near future???? best wishes to you all steve leitch

Darrell Farnsworth: 30 May - Hi Gents, I attended the show at the Astoria at the weekend and have to say that you were superb! Particularly Blood on the rooftops and all of the other stuff, from Wind and Wuthering. When are you going to play Nottingham or anywhere in the East Midlands. Please make it soon! Cheers Darrell

Nigel: 30 May - Hi Dave The Cosmic Lawnmower here from the Isle of Wight. Just wanted to tell you, although I guess you already know, that you guys totally rocked at the Genesis Convention... you were the band of the weekend in my view, it was cookin’ dude!! You all looked as though you were having a great time, and the twin drumming with Nigel was fantastic... not that you need it cos’ Jeff is a fantastic drummer, but it gave it that extra ‘something’. Bloomin’ well done mate, and we’ll look out for when you are next down Sarfhampton/Portsmouth way. By the way all the above goes for Cynthia’s Mallet (Anna) too. Thanks for a crackin’ show. Lawny (Nigel) & Anna

Simon Jackman: 01 June - Dear Chris it was a pleasure talking with you after the gig on Sunday - the performance was amazing! Best wishes - and thanks for such a great night... Simon

Mike Barnes: 01 June - Just to say thanks for a fantastic show at the 2006 Convention - prompted me to get Wakefield tickets immediately I got home (pleeeeease do 'Cinema Show' and the W&W suite again). All the bands were really great at the Astoria, and of course different to each other, but you guys came second to no one. Mike B

Brian Heath: 01 June - just to say a big thankyou for Sunday's performance, it was absolutely stunning. I think it became something very special, and you seemed to gain energy from the crowd's extremely loud and vocal appreciation of your considerable efforts. I don't know whether you thought so too ? I think you must have done judging by the glances and smiles between you. What about the applause Chris got for his brilliantly played intro to BOTR, certainly brought a lump to my throat! And Cinema Show, Los Endos were superb with the double drums. And I must say Abacab as the encore was a marvellous choice, very well played.

I met up with a couple of guys who had never seen you before so I just had to smile to myself at their reaction after the end of every song (they were gob smacked!) Needless to say we all had a laugh at Terry's introductory comments for FOF, poor Piers... no pressure! But well played mate and a thunderous round of applause greeted that famous intro. I hope this well deserved reaction gives you the impetus to carry on, you certainly stole the show. All the best G2 Brian

Alan Farrow: 02 June - Hello guys, Well, I must say you were absolutely fantastic. The best band of the night. I never saw Genesis in concert, and have only seen the odd video and listened to my small collection of Genesis CD’s. After resurrecting my copy of SECONDS OUT late last year, I came across your site and info about the convention earlier this year. I must say that while listening to you all on stage, my goose bumps got goose bumps. Thank you for keeping the music of Genesis “alive” Your playing of songs from Trick of the Tail; especially Ripples, had me glued to the stage. Also, the music from Wind and Wuthering was out of this world. Thank you so much for playing Cinema Show and Los Endos with drum solo (aka Phil and Chester). I will never forget your performance and hope to see you all again in the near future. You are the best!

Dave Morgan: 25 June - Guys, Belated thanks and congratulations for the set you performed at the Convention! You were the outstanding act of the weekend, especially the 2 drummer piece. For the future, more gigs west of London, High Wycombe or Swindon as soon as you can. Keep up the great work. Dave Morgan

Gloucester Guildhall - Gloucester
Dave Sage: 19 November - Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show last night at the Guildhall in Gloucester. I went expecting to see In The Cage, not knowing what to expect from them, let along your band! Superb show, particularly enjoyed all the Gabriel-era music; excellent Suppers Ready and Lamb tracks. Needless to say I'll be looking out for you next time you're playing nearby. Dave Sage

Carl Russell: 20 November - Guys, outstanding performance at Gloucester Guildhall Saturday, Hope to see you again soon. Quite a pleasant surprise to see you Saturday obviously as were expecting In The Cage! Haven't seen any new dates on your Web site for some time?? Can you keep me posted. Keep up the good work! All the best! Carl Russell

Robert Broad: 20 November - Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed you on Saturday 18 Nov in Gloucester a really good night many thanks. Look forward to seeing you again when your next in our area. Not too long we hope, Suppers ready was the highlight. Regards Robert & Heather Broad

Keith Noakes: 29 November - Hi. I saw you play at Gloucester over a week ago, and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the gig. I’ve seen a couple of other Genesis tribute bands, but I must admit I was totally blown away by the fantastic sound you guys created – I just couldn’t believe it. I came with a mate and his wife and you couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces. The highlight, which sent shivers down my spine, was “Entangled” – although that’s hardly fair as I can’t believe you put a note out of place all night. Can’t wait to see you again. Keep up the good work and please come to Gloucester (or within 60-70 miles?) again. From a very impressed Genesis fan.

Marina Theatre - Lowestoft - Suffolk
Andy Graham: 03 June - Hi, Just to say how much i enjoyed the show in Lowestoft last night. My hair and kaftans might have gone now but i had a great night of escapism reliving my youth. Hope you play here again next tour! Thanks again and keep it up Andy Graham

Andy Micklethwaite: 03 June - Guys Well done for a terrific gig at Lowestoft last night, thoroughly absorbing and entertaining stuff. I can't help feeling that the pre-gig promotional stuff from the theatre could have been better and would have attracted a larger crowd (we only got to know about it because I missed the last show and kept a periodic check on the G2 website to make sure I didn't miss it again. The Eastern Daily Press which covers Norfolk and North Suffolk had a 1" column piece on the day of the gig in their 'events' suppliment which comes out every Friday. You may possibly have got a bigger mention if you'd submitted a concert photo although they did carry a photo of Orson who my son informs me are 'hot' at the moment so you might have been relegated anyway.

I do hope that you come back again but would urge you to try and engage the EDP to assist in promotional stuff a few weeks before the gig as I guarantee most people in the Norwich area (where I live) would have been unaware that it had taken place. You deserve a bigger audience because you are outstandingly good! Keep up the good work, see you next time. Cheers Andy Micklethwaite

Bob Fallon: 04 June - Hi, I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for a great show last night. I went to see you at Lowestoft in the Marina theatre. All I can say is wow! You guys are simply awesome. Although not the biggest crowd, I hope we showed our appreciation with our cheers at the end. I could go on with superlatives for ages so I wont bore you. Just thanks again guys, you have a new fan. Kind regards Bob Fallon

Chris James: 05 June - Guys Great gig at Lowestoft Marina on June 2nd. Brilliant set, enjoyed the night immensely. Shame the theatre was not full, but I thought the atmosphere was pretty good nonetheless. Bought the live double cd as well, and very impressed. Can't wait for next time. Song requests for the future……how about Happy The Man & Match Of The Day? Chris James

John Doney: 05 June - Saw you at Lowestoft on Friday 2nd June 2006. Absolutely wonderful peformance. Saw you there last year and thought you were excellent but this year was awesome. Love the CD too which I've been playing non stop since. Keep up the good work. JD

Stuart Haggar: 05 June - Hello All Just to say thanks to you all for a fantastic night. Your recreation of the sound of Genesis is tremendous and provided many frozen spine moments during the night. Cinema Show, Wind and Wuthering Section were truly awesome!! Whether we ever get to see a reunion its good to know you guys are out there keeping the true sound going, more power too you!. Keep up the great work, us Genesis Diehards really do thank you deeply. Hope you are back in the area soon. Regards Stuart

Peter: 28 January - Back in 1976 I remember looking forward to seeing Genesis on the Old Grey Whistle Test. In eager anticipation I sat down to watch the show with my girlfriend of the time. She gently clutched her newly bought copy of Trick of the Tale and destroyed the evening by singing along to Ripples, her voice sounding similar to dame Edna's in quality. I was astounded. Our relationship lasted a few hours more and no more. But more importantly I coundn't listen to Ripples again without coming over funny and going dizzy with thoughts of her 14 stone bulk singing along to that song. The images were streaming uncontrollably through my brain meaning I always had to skip that track.

When I saw you perform it at Lowestoft last year I was astonished how good it was and I achieved a full listening without the rampaging flashbacks. I thank you so much and say to you that you must continue at all costs because you are top class and your music carries a quality that other Genesis bands miss. Best regards Pete

Richelieu Auditorium - Palais des Congres - Versailles
Damien Cambay: 22 January - Hello, We just wanted to thank you for the great show yesterday night. We enjoyed your show, and were so happy to hear some Genesis songs (we are 22/26/29 yo, too young to have seen them really!!). We are big Phil Collins fans (we are french, and went to his lasts concerts in Paris and even Prag!) and also Genesis fans, from Trespass to We can't dance, with a preference for the 75/78 periods. Thanks again and come back to France soon for a 2 hours show, we need you!! All the best, Damien (...we were three... my brother was the guy on the 5th row shouting and standing after all of your songs).

Paul Reeves: 23 January - Hi Dave, please pass on my congatulations to the lads for the gig in Paris. I was going to try and make the gig in France then the girlfriend surprised me at xmas with the flights to Paris for the weekend,we set off from Brum 5 o`clock Saturday morning and was in the Versaille area for midday. The theatre was not in the same league as the Colchester concert but it didn`t spoil my enjoyment and the seats were a lot more comfortable than sitting at the bar. Again a big thanks for keeping "Ripples" in there. Piers maybe beating himself up over the "cock up" but as I briefly said to him on my way out of the theatre it was still fantastic and just goes to prove its live and sometimes shit happens. Once again and boringly thanks for a great evening and didn`t the French like it! Rgds Paul Reeves.

Robin 2 - Bilston - West Midlands
Nigel: 17 November- Dear All, I have just got back from the gig at the Robin 2 venue. I can honestly say that it was quite simply one of the best I have been to in a long time! Thanks for well over two-and-a-half hours of great music. I never got to see the original Genesis prior to their Invisible Touch tour (and saw them at Round Hay Park in Leeds - which was good) and so missed out on the live performances of what many (including myself) consider to be their best work. So, many thanks for giving me the opportunity to finally experience something of what I missed all those years ago. I had a really good evening. I fully intend to fish out my various Genesis CDs and put them in the car for a damned good playing! Marvellous!! Cheers, Nigel

Eamonn Flanagan: 17 November - Well... there I was... sitting in work not far from Bedford (bleedin miles from Bilston), wondering if the Genesis presale tickets details were relreased yet... so i went onto the forum. Then I remembered... i had seen that G2 were playing sometime in brum somewhere. What a good job I did look... plans were made and off I went in the car, pointing it in the direction of Wolverhampton. 90 minutes later, I arrived at the venue where I had seen the tribute band Supper's Ready from Italy back in 1999 (was it?).

G2 provided an amazing set list. I would NOT have swapped anything... although 4 hours would have been good so we could have added even more. Highlights for me were Entangled and Ripples with amazing audience vocals in the latter. The same was true of Carpet C. Overall... it was a real pleasure, for my 6th time, to see G2. Well worth the 3 hours on the road, with an alrm call at 6.30 this morning. Zzz Eamonn PS: Can't imagine I will hear a better Genesis set in the next 12 months!!!

Dave Moreman: 17 November - Hi Dave, I just wanted to thank you for another incredible show last night at the Robin 2. I saw you there last year and you surpassed yourself last night. It really made me question whether I wanted to go and see Genesis next year at Manchester. I really think they will struggle to generate the same atmosphere that you did last night, and I'm sure they won't play a quarter of the material that you covered. I bet they won't play for 2 3/4 hours non stop either!

Do I really want to spend £50 to £70 to go and stand in the middle of 50,000 people? I think Genesis have their music is in safe hands - those of G2. I never saw them play the material you do (except in the 'old' medley), but you showed just how thrilling, complex and sometimes, downright ferocious Genesis music is. You really put the music across with passion and power to the people who really want to hear it. The barrier between band and audience truly disappears at your gigs, because both you and we are there for the love of the music. Keep going and I hope to see you again soon! Feel free to post any of this on your site by the way. Now. I think I have a mobile phone clip of Piers making a mistake in the intro to FoF to listen to... :O) all the best Dave

Jason Lycett: 17 November - Phenomenal concert last night in Bilston. Piers, thanks for chatting to me about your keyboard set-up, im now inspired and im going to get that cinema solo together if it kills me!! Would love to 'The lady lies' some time, i think that would go down well with the pounding bass, and nice solo... just a thought! please come back soon. Best Regards Jason

Jez: 17 November - Hi Guys just a short note to thank you for an absolutely wonderful night at the Robin on the 16th November - you were in absolutely top form. I have been to see 4 or 5 different Genesis tribute bands over the years and attended 20 or more shows and this was the best one yet by a long chalk. You played every song I wanted and more! Don't leave it too long before you return Jez Slater

Paul Reeves: 17 November Hi Guys, A big thank you yet again for a brilliant evenings entertainment at the "Robin" in Bilston last night ( 16-11-06) we as an audience had a fantastic time and it also looked like so did you guys. I put enough messages on here but please rethink on going plans and dates, last night proved with the right venue G2 pull the crowds in. Hopefully see you in 2007. Rgds Paul Reeves

Mike: 18 November - Congratulations on the Bilston show which even after the long lay-off was magnificent (as usual). After many years of trying I finally persuaded my brother to see you. He is a die hard traditionalist Gabriel-era fan, and like many others has been 'uncertain' about Genesis tribute bands - but he was mightily impressed - and I quote - 'put them in Wembley and you wouldn't know the difference'. I suspect next years 'big three' reunion can safely be missed as you guys are the ones keeping the real Genesis 'legacy' safe! Real money's worth too - 2.5 hours for a tenner! Hope you don't stay away so long in future. Mike Barnes

Martyn Walley: 18 November - Hi, Just wanted to thank you all for the amazing time on Thursday. As a youth I got into music in the later 70s (I'm 44 now) and thus joined 'Genesis' (of sorts) at 'And then there were three' - going to the ABACAB tour - oh dear! I only discovered the excellent, earlier Genesis at a later date, becoming an avid listener. Anyway, what you are all doing is fantastic - thank you. It was well worth dashing over from Worcestershire for and totally worth the journey. I hope that the audience made it worthwhile for you. Highlights for me were 'Suppers Ready' and 'Ripples'. Thank you all very much and I'll definitely look out for you again. Best Wishes, Martyn

Steve Gough: 24 November - Gents, I saw you for the first time last week at Bilston - Robin2. Being stuck in a musical time warp of the 70's, and being a big fan of Genesis,(especially that era), I didn't think I would ever hear that magical sound again!! It was a great set that you played and its a shame that it couldn't go on for another 2+ hours. thanks for a great evening of pure brilliance!!!!! please keep it up... when will you be touring again?? Steve

Roger Taylor: 07 December - saw your gig recently at robin club and couldn`t believe how long you played for!! fantastic value and having seen you their several times now i am always ready for the next gig. hope you can get some gigs together for 2007. merry xmas from two old rockers roger & kevin.

Wakefield Theatres - Wakefield
Peter Lister: 18 June - Just wanted to congratulate you all on a wonderful show in Wakefield, last night. I've seen Genesis several times, but I really enjoyed your performance. The sound (& volume level) was much better in the second half and it was obvious that you all enjoyed yourselves as the show progressed. Hope you will venture up to the 'frozen North' again, before too long. Regards Peter

Bob Margerison: 18 June - Gents, just returned from your performance at Wakefield and it was (as usual) fantastic. Dave mentions the goose pimple effect, and you created it again last night. You seemed to come alive in the second half and it was clear both the audience and you were enjoying some great music. Cinema Show was my favourite and it was great to see you play Supper's Ready after a few prompts!! Looking at the Web site you don't seem to have planned any further dates for this year. Please, please don't stop performing, you are fantastic to watch and all superb musicians. Thanks again for a great evenings entertainment. Rob Margerison

Helen Disley: 19 June Hi there, I saw you guys perform in Wakefield on Saturday night - the first time I saw you (Leeds City Variety Hall) I was blown away by the quality of your playing and this this time was no different. I was in tears during the acoustic section at the end of the first set - it's incredible how closely you reproduce the sounds of Genesis. I hope you come back 'up north' again next year - Leeds, Darlington maybe??? I know it's a long way for you but we really do appreciate it! Thanks so much for a great night Helen

Ged Hayes: 27 June - Hi Dave, thanks for a great night again, it was a cute little theatre at Wakefield, I'm reliving it all (in a roundabout way) with the Live at Camberley dvd. All the best, see you soon. Ged

Bits'n'Bobs
Pia Sylvest: 17 January - Hiya, I saw you play at the Camberley Theatre back in November 200? (whichever year it was!!!) and thought you were absolutely excellent!! Please could you let me know if you are planning on playing back there and if not please would you consider it again?! Or anywhere else local to that area? Keep up the great music and the show and really hope to come along and see you play again. Looking forward to your reply. Kind regards Pia

Steve Biddle: 24 January - To the G2 Gang, just a quick message to say good luck to you all for 2006 onwards, I saw you playing in Folkestone a while back and you were great that night. Hoping to see you play sometime soon. Just wondering if you could do Home By The Sea in your set in the near future? Regards, Steve.

Lorialsie: 09 February - I have been a genesis fan for 20 years. I have been listening to your clips & all I can say is MAGIC!! are you going to be doing scotland?

Stuart: 02 January - Hi Guys, great to see you are making a return visit to Lowestoft in June. Looking forward to seeing and hearing you again. Thought you were awesome last time you came. I will spread the word to other Genesis devotees to come along. You deserve a good crowd. Regards, Stuart

Dave Clews: 16 March - Hey guys, Just seen that Crawley is cancelled! Any reason? (I was about to buy some tickets). Thats where I first saw you guys a coiuple of years ago and was knocked out by how good you were (so much better than Musical Box whom I saw last year at the Royal Albert Hall and thought they were rubbish!). You were so good, I immediately bought tickets to see you at Worthing. Any chance of any gigs down south this year? Cheers Dave

Glenn Perris: 19 March - Why are you doing so few dates? I saw you in Crewe, Cheshire a while back playing the Limelight club - and thought you were excellent. Any plans to play up the North of the country soon? Regards, Glenn

Kelvin: 25 March - Hi I saw you when you came to Yeovil, Somerset a few years ago and thought you were great. My 14 year old daughter has decided that she likes Genesis, I have managed to keep my LPs to myself so far. Have you any thoughts of making a return trip this far south again? Kelvin Bird

Geoff: 27 December - Hi Guys, Saw you at the Orchard in Dartford (such a lovely theatre) for the first time last year and was in near-ecstasy throughout the show. It was just fantastic hearing that music played live and so brilliantly. Especially as you did much of my favourite mid-period (late Gabriel / early Collins) material. All the Best Geoff

Kim: 15 May - You guys were fabulous last year at the Brook in southampton, i do hope you will be doing another tour soon! I never thought i would get the opportunity to experience genesis of the marvellous seconds out era again after so many years! The work you chaps put in is very appreciated as i imagine the music is very demanding. I do hope we get to see you all again soon, Cheers Kim

Ian: 30 May - Hi Dave, Stunning, absolutely stunning set on Sunday; worth the trip just for that experience alone; please pass on my heartfelt thanks to the guys, sorry couldn't get to say hello hope you all really enjoyed the weekend. See you soon hopefully! Very Best Regards, Ian

Mike: 30 May - Hi You guys Rocked!, as they say, with a capital R. The double drum effect was phenomenal and aside of the 2 Hacketts on stage together G2 was the highlight of Sunday evening. Hope you come back to Dartford sometime soon cheers Mike

Sally Hearn: 31 May - Howdy! just wanted to pop in and say how much i really enjoyed seeing you guys at the astoria for the Genesis convention....you were fooking brill!! :- ) I'll be keeping an eye out for a gig near me, so i can see you again Well done guys, keep it up :- )) Sally

Wendy Hyland: 08 June - Dear Dave and everyone. Have received the G2 live at camberley dvd. It is amazing. Have been to a few gigs at the Orchard theatre at Dartford and have been blown away with the music. I hope it wont been too long before you play there again. Keep up the good work. thanks again Wendy Hyland

Paul Reeves: 19 June - Hello to yourself & the rest of the band, As you know Ive followed the band for a short while and very much enjoyed myself and just this year been to three out of the four gigs planned Lowerstoft the one that i missed. At the Astoria London the other tribute bands did not reach the heights and adulation that yourselves achieved. I do hope the monies can be found to extend the enjoyment for yourselves and the Genesis followers. For now a BIG thanks. rgds Paul Reeves
